you play good, you have the rythm and good finger vibratos. Just for constructive criticism, when playing hendrix stuff dont forget to use your thumb, it makes a lot of difference.

Nice! What version univibe are you using? I got a Soul Vibe but I think I'm sending it back, sounded more like Curtis Mayfield than Hendrix (which isn't a bad thing, just not what I'm after).

Thank you. I am using a Cool Cat Univibe. I had a Soul Vibe and liked the Cool Cat better. The only problem is my Cool Cat has quit working. They are fairly inexpensive pedals. I am on the search myself for a new Univibe. Thanks again. Brandon.

I just got a mjm sixties vibe (upgraded from a soul vibe which sucked) and it is one of the best univibe clones ever. It and the KR I feel are the best, but the waiting list for a kr are ridiculous. I would seriously check it out, but all the demos of it kinda suck for hendrix stuff, but it nails the tone.

@311allmixedup And maybe vice versa? Hendrix played backing guitar for a lot of R&B people, like Little Richards, before he did his own thing. He did have a lot of funk, R&B, and rock influences, as well as blues. I got rid of the Soul Vibe long ago. I've owned a few vibes, including the Lovepedal Vibe (newer version). I just got an Foxrox Aquavibe and it's amazing! Lush, full, organic, just an amazing pedal. I'd recommend anyone that likes vibes and has a few months to wait to get on the list!

some people can't afford nice fender guitars, and instead go to pawn shops, and find a micheal kelly cutom les paul, for $300, a peavey tracer, for $80, a washburn custom LP, $220, and their uncle gives them a kramer striker st200, and they are satisfied, but still want a fender, even though they don't play as smoooth.

great cover.this is my favorite hendrix song. i do have a question, i have never owned a head and cab and have a question because i am looking at buy one. if i bought an 80w cab and a 5w head would i only be able to get to 5w of sound out of the cab or would the 5w head head control over the 80w spectrum of the cab?

I really appreciate that. I used the amps overdrive. I use a Cool Cat Unvibe the entire song. For the solo I turned on a Barber Trifecta fuzz. I played this on a Peavey Classic 50 amp. Thanks again.
