the game doesn't come with either guitar, just with the bass drums and mic...you have to buy the guitar, and only one, so you get to pick whether you want the rickenbacker or the gretsch

I play Violin and Drums, and lost interest in Piano years ago. My camera sucks so i don't even bother. No one would watch.

I personally think this is to have fun, and in this case, re-live the songs that most people enjoy. I already knew the basics of Drumming when I picked up Rock Band.

I'm just saying, The Beatles don't need a game to sell their music, and would probably enjoy people doing cover songs instead of hitting 4 buttons to play the song.

well its not that we're lazy its just a fun expierence, i play the guitar for about 5 years now, and practice a good amount to the point were i can alot of metallica songs but when play this its just so much easier and its fun play with friends who dont know much instruments. i mean hate on it if you want but just dont come to the video you know you already hate since these types of games, and then discriminate against it.

not necessarily; i mean, yeah some people who get 95's or 99's on drums on expert songs think they're amazing, when, they've never touched a drum set... some people i know (including me) are musicians and love to play the rockband series, so i guess what i am getting at is that: yes there are SOME lazy people, but there are also a fair number of people who love to play real instruments and rockband :)

The game i understand is compatable with Guitar Hero controllers and those from previous Rock Band games, so expect the stand alone copy to sell a bit more than the instrument bundles
