  • shes perfect

  • :-)))

  • On practically every video of this song, I read plenty of comments from people named or who have relatives/friends/spouses/pets named after "Rhiannon". Does anyone realize that they're no longer a special snowflake for it?

  • Sheer talent, musicians and singers nowadays can't touch this. Period.

  • I have always wanted stevie nicks to be my cougar. lol.

  • @rido68kj lmao!! u po'thing! aint gonna happen-but u CAN DREAM!! My older brothers wanted her to--I'm 54...they were 4 & 5 years older...but died 3 &1 year ago... I miss them-my mom went in between the two guys--sux...but love this!!!!

  • i have an essay due tomorrow yet i keep watching this... oh well.

  • fuck id pump stevie knicks

    she so fucking hot!

  • I know alot of girls named after this song nice!

  • What a performance

  • Fleetwood Mac is defiantly my favorite band, and I have the biggest non-lesbianic crush on Stevie Nicks. I'm sixteen, and my mom criticizes my taste in music, while she listens to crap by LMFAO and the Black Eyed Peas. Yes, mother, I'M the one who has bad taste in music.

  • @ThePurpleEyedMonster God bless you lol

  • I get my kicks watching Stevie Nicks! I love this song..

  • Bottom Line: You cannot find a better 2 minutes of singing by a single voice anywhere on this cesspool we call the internet, than what goes on from 0:22 to 2:22. Nowhere. You dont have to seek it out, for it is in the window above.

  • This song sounded great when it came out, sounds great now and will sound great 100 years from now...

  • My favourite video and song of all time. Stevie's voice was a voice to be recconed with!!!! I think alot of people that leave nasty comments are young and don't understand the music back then and i can tell you that I thoroughly enjoyed it, and still do to this day!!!!!!!!!

  • I love her hair.

  • Thanks for the awesome post...I remember the first time I heard Stevie's voice..then the first time I saw her (this may have been "thee" first time)...She's mesmorizing...

  • Stevie was a fox back in the day. Even today she kept her looks but damnnnnn back in the day.

  • stevie's just damn beautiful.

  • This rocks.

  • Sweet

  • My parents named me after this song :)

  • @mnmlam0206 Lucky you!

  • @mnmlam0206 I named my second daughter Rhiannon, and all because of Stevie and what a perfect vibe that they gave. Be proud that you have such a beautiful name.

  • Where are the harmonies on the chorus?

  • NO! not even close!

    GREAT video!

  • OKAY . DOES STEVIE not look like REXELLA from van IMPE ministries?? cmon now be honest.

  • @MisterBCbudman HAHAHAHAAAA! That is SO wrong.... lol

  • go to version posted by CHris123445. It is by far the best version on here. Buckingham is fabulous and Nicks cutting loose at the 5 minute mark with give you goosebumps. The track is superior to any other

  • Is this from '75 or '76?

  • Comment removed

  • Fucking hell any fuckwit that says music nowadays suck are obviously not looking very far as to what bands are actually around today....i imagine more than half the shit on the radio was shithouse, commercial bullshit just like it is today but the difference is the good bands were getting alot more appreciation back then

  • the GaGa'z Ok - she was BORN THIS WAY MMMMkaaay but this stuff sings to my soul...

  • @skipachoy True, 1 of the only good modern bands with true musicianship is Tool. Listen to them you won't be disappointed.

  • Really music today is not all the different from the music of yesterday, It just falls on old ears differently then youngins, This is like the mother of our music today, to say either one is better then the other is practically saying your own music sucks, Side note Good Lord that women is an Angel. lol 24 yrs old here. and my playlist consists of America FWM Eagles Boston kansas etc..

  • @philDiddy27 I agree. A number of modern bands (e.g. Audioslave, The Black Keys) still feature that close Zeppelin or Hendrix tone that we love, and also some memorable, catchy riffs/solos (though not as epic, in my opinion). I guess it takes some time for these new sounds and riffs to earn 'classic' status, albeit the pioneers of rock achieved that more quickly. But it's certainly fine to revel in nostalgia in the meantime :)

  • stevie's pupils are the size of pencils, wheeeew, sniffff

  • @skipachoy Yeah, you deserve the top comment. Modern singers, like gaga, are more theater shock jock. While the 70's artist, were full time musical artist. This is all they did = make music. No dance practicing, no clothes designing sessions with fashion designers. No cable show tv appearance schedule. The hippies would camp at a beautiful secluded location and play instruments and toss lyrics around every day, all day long.

  • All music today doesn't suck. I loved Fleetwood Mac back in the day and heard Stevie Nicks overdub some old stuff for remixes recently and she can still sing! That said, Lady Gaga is a legitimate artist and a major talent whether you like her or not. And if you want to hear old school by a new artist done right, check out Lissie. I would love to hear her cover this.

  • @darko714

legitimate artists..wtf...mc donalds sells a shit load of burgers..would you call it good grub..its fucking pollution..it has no soul or heart..shes a plastic basket case..her kid are ten a penny in nite clubls across the states..

  • Looks like Christine had had some cosmetic surgery by then compared to 1973

  • I watched this when it was broadcast in June 1976.

  • I actually made myself listen to the top ten this week on vacation. My 10 year old son so far grew up on my music. But even though I hate the sound and vibe of the top ten. I decided I gotta keep it on the new station (even though right now he says he doesn't like it - thank god) It's not fair to him to not listen to the new stuff. I don't want to be like my parents listening to their 50s stuff only when they thought my music was awful. Even though deep down now I know it really is bad now.

  • this is what music is all about!!!!!!!!!!

  • gotta love her hair

  • Anybody with half a brain cell will see how awful today's music is. It's all about marketing, not talent. There's more effort put videos than the song itself, they take a generic, mundane song and think that if an average vocalist says 'baby' at the end of every line then it's got soul or emotion. It's all to do with money, there's more profit in promoting a flashy teenager to pre-pubescent girls with 3 minute attention spans than a group of blues based musicians. It's sad.

  • If shoot my spunk down the back of her throat then in her ass

  • I was 12 yrs old watchin' Stevie Nicks & Fleetwood Mac....wishing I was able to see the concert ....they need to TOUR ..AGAIN!!!!

  • This is simply THE definitive performance of Rhiannon!! It is also THE definitive example of the beauty, power, and magic of Stevie Nicks. I watch it once or twice a week for an adrenaline rush. And can you believe the audience??? ... SITTING there, politely clapping !! They should have been on their feet, wildly cheering ! The last two minutes of the performance alone was worth the price of their admission!! They had no clue of what they were privileged to witness.

  • I absolutely LOVE this video. Especially how into she gets from 4:50. Amazing!

  • I was born in the wrong era:(

  • @skipachoy I agree. In addition to that I have seen some B.S. bands that will have a guitar player with them on stage when you can hear that there is clearly no guitar in the music because it's all electronica and drum machines .Another thing I have seen are singers that will have a guitar strapped on them but they don't play it all. That annoys the shit out of me.

  • AWESOME footage,many memories,Many thanks..

  • omg Stevie Nicks is such a hottie ..fantastic voice too!

  • @skipachoy oh yea your so wise and stuff everything sucks. SHUT THE FUCK UP with your "oh im young but I hate todays music, I'm so advanced and smart because I like older music." If you did a little poking around you'd find some good music being made nowadays, its just not on all the radio stations. I agree that a lot of the music of the 60 and 70's was really fucking good, but stop being a lame asshole.

  • I love it ,Stevie is so hot then and now . Song is also get.

  • the voice,incredible!!!

  • I, also, named my only daughter after this song. Drove here nuts listening to it.

  • I, also, named my only daughter after this song. Drove here nuts listening to it.

  • Ohh Stevie Nicks, sensual sevenites beauty of the midwest..i mean how hot can you get..oh yeah an amazing too..lol..why state the obvious.

  • I named my daughter after this song .. :)

  • Trivia: Which r&b video did Stevie make a cameo in

    late 90's...early 00's ?

  • @skipachoy You are so right all that is out there to is CRAP! I also come the generation of lady gaga and nicki manaj my head is stuck in about 1977 as far as music goes Fleetwood Mac is awsome by the way

  • her voice is so wild and untamed.

  • YOU MEAN RHIANNA S BROTHER

  • good music from a good generation of music making.

muscians and their intruments with a mic is all they needed.

Being 19 years old i wish i was born 30 years before i was.

  • good music from a good generation of music making.

muscians and their intruments with a mic is all they needed.

Being 19 years old i wish i was bordn 30 years before i was.

  • i hope the band members who are still alive respect my words an faith towards music i was born in 71 an i have never quit spinning vinyls god bless talent

  • skipachoy is right, todays music licks balls.

  • Jeez! How can anybody dislike this!!!??

  • I love Fleetwood Mac.This is however too low to enjoy.Whats up? 55LINDA11

  • stevie nicks has one of, if not the, most amazing female voices in music. what an incredible performance.

  • These guys cook

  • guess buckingham/nicks were still an item at this time, if I look at the looks between them :)

  • I really youtubers would stop comparing today's artists to ones from back in the day. If you hate today's music so much, then just ignore it.

What do you think people were saying about contemporary music in the 70's compared to the 60's? Probably the same BS I see all the time on here about so&so, and so&so. Get over it.

  • @itsglen9646 Couldn't agree more. It's a bit phony imo to gush over the music from the 60's and 70's and talk crap about the music from today when all you can name are the most mainstream representations of it. The music of this generation is more than Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, or what have you.

  • @itsglen9646 stfu faggot

  • @itsglen9646 Piss off people have a right to make any comment they like !!

    So GET OVER IT !!

  • @itsglen9646 Every decade has its good music and horrible music. The last thing we need to do is "get over it." With the music industry pushing the fakest garbage they can get kids to buy and ignoring the interests of everyone over the age of 25, MORE people should speak their mind, not less. If you are tired of hearing it, "just ignore it." There is good music being made today, but few people are hearing it unless they go out of their way searching for it. THAT'S the problem I see.

  • @itsglen9646 Get over it but don't stop stopping it>>>>>>>>>

  • @itsglen9646 Theres a difference, Todays music honestly does suck, I dont get why kids from our generation dont pick up a damn guitar or play drums. Check out my channel i got a ton of drum covers and vocal covers for the doors and other classic rock bands. Todays music needs to die, we should be ashamed of what we created....

  • Much of what you hear on the radio sounds like it was created by a radio friendly banker machine. There are still tunes there, toe tappers for a generation who exist. Barely. Take heart, there are girls and boys out there who create music that will make a difference. Heartening, too, to see that live music, as fostered and encouraged by music festivals, here in the UK, really does make a difference. Having said that I fear that the Corporations are picking up on it, and blanding it all down.

  • @itsglen9646 yeh but i bet 30 years from now people arent gonna look back and say yeh man i really love lady gaga too bad we dont have such great artists like her anymore, fuck that. not gonna happen. see the difference?

  • @dudebearpig05 I bet 30 years from now people will, considering she's broken world records in the music industry. You dumbass.

    Music is a universal language.

    Music is MUSIC

Certain people will remember certain artists.

  • @itsglen9646 no.

  • @itsglen9646 fuck you faggot go listen to justin bieber

  • @itsglen9646 music has lost all meaning and complexity as to appeal to the largest audience therefore selling the most music has to be bland, repeditive have some sort of catchyness, mudane lyrics and a viral following. You are an idiot amongst idiots

  • @itsglen9646 I agree with you that people were probably complaining about the previous generation's music since the beginning of time. HOWEVER, at least the older artists like on this video weren't singing live through Antares Auto-tune pitch correction or faking along with a pre-recorded track. COMMERCIAL music is a lot more about image and controversy and less about talent. But there are some great new artists out there with artistic integrity, but you probably won't hear them on the radio.

  • @Boogietized Good point, but the radio plays what they want you to hear, so I stopped listening to radio long ago.

There are lots of bands making music today. Probably some in your town too.

  • @itsglen9646 THANKS YOU!! thats what i think everyone is always bitching and moaning its annoying

  • @itsglen9646 The reason we keep comparing it is because most of the artist then played and wrote their own music. Most of the music is written and played by other people other than the singer today, and the fact back in the day people actually bought albums and CDs to listen to whole albums not just to download one song here and there on your ipod like they do today.

  • @Carrots43 Yeah and the whole albums were worth listening to.

  • Yes I would...

  • Excellent video!!!! Can't beat this group.

  • I love listening to this song live. Her high perks of singing are just SO wonderful!

  • witch

  • man I miss those days, you can see it nowadays that this was the height... by the time Stevie and Lindsay join the band it was a great addition. I also like the fact that a lot of kids are noticing how great the music used to be....guess we can thank the record executives for ruining a good thing

  • great clip - great song - great performance....long before christine had plastic surgery, stevie had her nostrils sorted out and lindsay learned how to shave or wax...

  • @skipachoy

    AGREED!!!!!!!!

  • The most intimate singing I have ever witnessed.

  • i love how she just totally rocks it at the end !

  • BE NICE TO HAVE A HIGHER SOUND LEVEL. CANT HEAR A THING.

EVERYTHING IS 100% AND ALL I GET IS WHISPERS

  • @sixtiesforever1966 Get a nicer computer. Mine does the same shit. Or use headphones.

  • Comment removed

  • @PepperIshcool Have a New Dell Computer and even with headphones the sound level is low.

Maybe I am going deff. NO! LOL DAVID

  • @sixtiesforever1966 I have a new toshiba laptop and the speakers just suck ass. but with headphones it's good:D

  • @skipachoy Look at any concert where the musicians don't have earpieces. They have big monitors all along the front of the stage. Earpieces are just so you can actually hear the other musicians in your band, come on.

  • ohh stevie your sooo fine....(Y)

  • I remember the first time I heard this song. I was shopping in a TGY store with my kids in the 1970's. This song was piped in over a sound system. I stopped in my tracks and listened to it, completely mesmerized.

  • all of you realize she is forgetting the chorus and lindsey is getting a kick out of it..

  • Does anyone know what year this was?

  • Lady Gaga kicks ass.Get out of your Cacoon and let the new generation Do what they want to do.

  • Ann Wilson , can blow her off the stage with her vocals. Ann's vocals are AGELESS!

  • your too lazy to find anything good today plus you dont want to

  • @skipachoy I agree!

  • Stevie is a babe.

  • I love that coked-up goat so much! *tear*

  • Awesome quality for such an old show. I used to live for The Midnight Special...those were the days!!!

  • i'm 56 and while i like fleetwod mac,i.m not like alot of these old farts that built shrine to the 70's in my head, there's alot good music out there presentlycourse unless you're an old fashioned gray haired fart who believes that anything after the 70's us useless./bunch of old grandaddy farts!! bwa'hahahahaha

  • @WVMMRH The only difference is that todays music has more technology to MAKE the performers sound better on the recording, thus when singing LIVE, it is crap. Many youngs stars suffer this today. I also like todays rock, etc. But being an avid concert attendee in the 70's, 80's, 90's...if they can sing it live as well or even better than the recording, IT IS TRUE MASTERY!!!!

  • awesome band, great sound ,talented, beautiful stevie nicks but to dedicate to witches? really?

  • @Postelworker22 lol she said that to illicit a response just like that

  • @Postelworker22 Stevie actually wrote this song about the Celtic legend of Rhiannon, an unearthly goddess that came to earth and fell in love with a king but couldn't marry him or she would lose her powers. So even though he fell in love with her, she had to leave him to go back to the realm she came from. It's a concept of love Stevie found fascinating.

  • Amazing stuff indeed! Thanks for this!

  • I have always thought Stevie Nicks was the most hypnotic, dazzling performer of her time. When asked who I would be I could be if reincarnated, I always say "Stevie Nicks".

  • I have always thought Stevie Nicks was the most hypnotic, dazzling performer of her time. When asked who I would be I i could be reincarnated, I always say "Stevie Nicks".

  • ,,so was Lindsey having sex with Stevie ?

  • i was 12 or 13 when i begged my mother to change my name to rhiannon.

  • @daisypeachy That sooo funny.

Saw FM at a Day on the Green (Cakland) way back in '77 (?)

  • my sister was named after this song :). I absolutely love this song!

  • I would love to sit down one day with the members of Fleetwood Mac and go through these old video's and ask them "what was really going on here and what were you really thinking?".

  • I Was Born 14 Years Ago(: I Wish I Was Born 44 Years Ago..I Wish I Could Live In This Period...,, Stevie Nicks Is One Of The Most Unique, Influencial People I Have Ever Seen Perform. Every Single Song She Has Sung,, Is An Amazing Piece Of Art. I Know She Wont Read This, But We Can Hope , And This Happens To Be One Of My Favorites(: Stevie Nicks,, You Are The Queen Of Rock,, Nobody Can Beat Your Style Or Music No Matter How Hard They Try,, LONG LIVE STEVIE NICKS <3 You Are Truly Amazing(: <3

  • Lindsey seems pretty happy, I wonder what he finds so funny?

  • I remember where I was the first time I heard Rhiannon. I can't say that about too many songs. This is the best version.

  • Epic

  • I was 18 they were part of a great summer!! and a better time!!

  • I saw this version. No better performance in the world.

I saw Fleetwood Mac last December. No where near the vocals but my goodness the chemistry. Did you see the looks between Stevie and Lindsay - no prizes for guessing what part of the relationship they were up to!

I'll go to my grave remembering this (or similar) performance. WOW!!!

  • I was always curious about ......howw the hell did Christine put up with the other chicks dominating the stage. All of that verbrato was surely fake....smart tho to create a unique recogognisablee voice. Noone vvibrates in thier throat this fast tho, unless they are running track.

  • @maggiemudpie It's called a tone roll. Anyone can do it, really. In fact, it's pretty much an integral part of Lady Gaga's vocals.

  • LOL...............If my man wore aa split down the middle faggot shirt like that on stage.....................I would know he was a fag! snort snort! It's a state of mindd!

  • WTH is a rhiannonnn......you guys were stoned so majorly......OMG....snort............ aaa line more Stevie

  • @maggiemudpie: WTH are you posting?

  • @SteamFanHannover exactly*

  • Comment removed

  • @maggiemudpie

Rhiannon was an old Welsh witch.

If it spurned this song - nothing wrong!!!

  • lol she really means the bit at the end :S...

  • Stevie has a few anal beads in her. I can tell about these things. Probably helps her hit the high notes or something.

  • This is my most favourite EVER version of rhiannon!!!!!!

  • @snooker2334

absolutely agree. I saw a very similar version in Adelaide, Australia in 1978-79. Oh what love!!!

  • Please stop saying there is no good music around today. That is a stupid thing to say. There is a lot of wonderful music out there. You won't find it on mainstream radio usually but it is out there. Try switching from your local classic rock station and explore other places for music.

  • @sourcesoftheriver Or talking to people who listen to this sort of music as well as newer stuff. I'm not fond of the top 40 sort of stuff that a lot of radio stations play, but you can find some neat stuff that's hidden under the rug by the ultra-popular stuff. I'm personally fond of Jakob Dylan, Ryan Bingham and Muse. It's cool stuff. Maybe not suited to everyone, but I like it. I love classic music, but there's good stuff out there that's pretty recent, too.

  • @thewriter1008 Yes, of course, but like you say, you need to look for it, or discover it or find it hidden under the rest of shit!! Of course it's allways a matter of taste to, but If you heave a little sense for music, sound, quality... you see that many bands in the 70', even 80', where just amazing, they head special talent, they where not allways products to sell a few singles like now.

  • Damn I have always thought that having sex with Stevie Nicks would have to be a mystical experience.

  • I never heard her sing this bad before... what in the world?....

  • This is the best song ever. Goosebumps every time I hear it.

  • i looove Stevie's hair.

    great song. great band.

  • Too much hittin on the belladonna there Stevie

  • There is no such thing as true vocals anymore, everything is AUTO TUNE SH!T.

  • Stevie was smokin hot!

  • At .47 Stevie forgets how to blink!!! At .57 she cracks a little smile because she forgot the lyrics and sings "Once in a million years" and at 1:04 you can see Lyndsey crack a smile too!! You're right emey1045...I'm a musician and playing live is what it's all about. No Pro Tools, pitch correction going on here. LOVE IT!

  • Fuk i fill old

  • This is the performance where Stevie forgets the lyrics to her own song....Classsic :)

  • Oh my lord she's so hot.

  • Now, I love Fleetwood Mac and Stevie and yes, she was totally HOT, but this was not a very good vocal performance. She has many better.

  • All through this song, I was wishing I was Stevie's microphone. Ooh.

  • Much better in the early days with Peter Green, etc.

  • What is that thing that Buckingham is wearing? Looks like he's wearing something out of Stevie's wardrobe. I love Fleetwood Mac!

  • Love's a state of mind........

  • None better than Stevie and Fleetwood Mac.

  • This is when the Mid Night Special was more than just a show that played videos of fake live performances.

  • 1:50 Im guessin christys vocals may have been well. Stevie had that "Oh you did not "just do that look. I may be way off but that glance over was for a reason. lol

  • Awesome

  • She is ridiculously hot, way off the hot scale/meter. Goodness gracious!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This is top 5 on the hottest Stevie moments

  • Damn, she was so hot in her day. She got me over Farrah Fawcett when I was 12.

Lindsay is a very underrated guitarist.
