I hate this, the way I look at it is I have less than 36 months to disappear from the system.I say that because that is when that the class 2 device that is implantable will come into effect. It does not say when ,the bill says "Not later than 36 months....the secretary may promulgate regulations...and operation of the registry. Found on page 1001 and 1003. Page 1003 is referring to the implantable device.

Thanks so much Grey Wolf for reading the actual print and then explaining it. Alot of this was mysterious before, people need to know facts and get angry enough to contact whoever and say no, this CANNOT be passed. If we haven't had enough before, this is the final nail in the coffin and it appears it will mean coffins for plenty of us if this gets passed!! Let's protest, again and again.
pg 30, sec 123: In short the advisory committee may be wholly appointed by the pres. This committee is responsible for "updating" or altering the essential benefits which are discussed throughout the bill. this gives them the power to manipulate the essential benefits such that no one who chooses to keep their private HC provider meets the requirements enabling the government to step in to tax and further impose pub. HC. This is just the gist of it. This bill would be a slap in the face.
I have been a firm DIS-believer in Universal Health Care for our country since before Obama was in office. This infuriates me, if taking away the peoples right of choice isn't a sample of socialism, I don't know what is.
Actually, employers and employees will have a choice between government and private insurance. Read page 148, the opt out paragraph. I'm tired of people skipping around and reading the bill out of context. Besides almost anybody can file for religious conscience exemption page 170 line 19. This includes catholics and evangelicals, which is most of the country.
And the fed won't stop printing money to pay for all this BS. All economic equations and relationships aside, it doesn't take a genius to figure out that every illegitimate dollar they print WEAKENS the strength of the dollar from that moment on. If the money is ever paid back that means some percentage of what each American earns will go towards that debt that these NONrepresentatives have created. It's simple logic, why can't the people in power understand this?
I can't get health insurance from ANYONE due to a pre-existing condition. This bill tells me I can have affordable health insurance so I won't go bankrupt before I turn 30 if something happens to me. I vote YES... No one can really bitch and complain about health insurance that HAS health insurance, or can GET health insurance. For myself and millions of others with the same problem, there is only one option.... YES to HR 3200.
I'm an active duty Marine, and I love my single-payer health insurance! I completely agree with you that single payer system would absolutely be the best route to go. However, it's not politically feasible to implement such a system right now. That would mean basically scrapping the entire system why have now (where most people get insurance from their employers) and starting from scratch. It's too disruptive. Hopefully one day, however, we will be able to migrate to a single-payer system.
This bill is typical elitist misdirection, give the people an emotional "football" issue so we can root for one side or another. In the meantime just a few of us notice that they are passing a debt onto us that our grandchildren will be servicing in the greatest robbery of all time.
Where will go to remain free while the slaves accept the terms of the bondage being offerred? If there is no viable exit strategy from servitude then those that crave freedom will have to stand and fight.
I think the problem is that, he is trying to read it as it is was a simple essay, its in the language of the law..lawyers go to school for 8 years for a reason.
As for paying doctors a set amount, that's what they do in Medicare & medicaid its set about 20% below normal costs it has not stopped people from becoming doctors for the last 44 years. I believe they are going to pay about 5-10% more then Medicare rates.
Watch C-Span 1,2, or 3 they cover this & make it easier to understand.
-Set fee paid by the consumer "at-time-of-service," such as copayments or deductibles, in order to obtain specific healthcare services (e.g., office visit or prescription drugs).
It is a co-pay, you do the same with private insurance. That's why you still pay when you get medical bills. People will only be required to pay up to a set fee. It is a deductible.
Where do you get RATION?!?!?!?!?!?!?
I have to go but I will return later to finish the rest.
they do not specify in the bill that is a problem. Look at the health care in sweden and norway . This bilkl does not do it, come to the room tomorrow and discuss it we are willing to listen just do not be discourtious . free speech is welcome
I want to go to school to be a traveling doctor in the US. Wonder where I apply. Don't want to specialize, don't want to charge thousands or carry malpractice, just save people. ?

WAKE THE FUCK UP!
Leave the country its the only solution. The time is NOW!
This is it, its over. There is nothing to fight for. This is a full fledged Communist takeover of America.

You are absolutely RIGHT! I am a healthcare worker of 7 years.
Quality of healthcare will be lost if this goes through. I am worried for my parents and my kids... We are in a lot of trouble.

This may be a highschool student's ignorance showing:
but why are we spending the money anyway?
our budget is totally busted, isn't it?
so why are we spending what we do not have, with an outstanding debt?
it seems to me we first need to fix the budget, before reform of any kind can be done properly...

even if you opt out of the coverage, we still have to pay for it!

I'm sure HR 3200 wasn't their only option... It doesn't really sound too good, I think we should vote this down and ask them for a new plan.

You are so far off; it said to determine how much your financial responsibility will be. How much youre going to pay!!!
There is nothing whatsoever about looking into your finances. It is about determining how much your financial responsibility for any procedure is.
The ID is a health insurance card! Just like the one I show when I go to the doctor so they know where to process the claim.

Do you know what cost sharing is?
-Any contribution consumers make towards the cost of their healthcare as defined in their health insurance policy.
-Set fee paid by the consumer "up-front," such as sliding scale premiums or enrollment fees.
-CONT-
