I've never worn extensions, clip-ins, sew in weaves, etc... so what type of hair is best? any specific brand? and how much does it run? thank you! you are fabulous btw! :)
ok so this is the first video that I have seen using clear thread. I like the transparency of it. I would love to try clip ins but they are too expensive for a new mom and so I'm searching youtube for great DIY ideas. By far though I love yours. same method as others but def a better look ;)
Please let me know what you think of mine my Youtube channel is Simplyext we speiclaize in Seamless Hair Extensions and Top quality Clip on Hair Extensions
Do you have natural hair or relaxed hair? I am trying to figure out whether or not i can make some really curly clipins for my relaxed hair. For example if i wanted a kinky look and used bohemian wave as clipins would it look strange?
thank u so much.I was really thinking about ordering online, but thx to u I will make my own. I get to use quality hair for my extentions PLUS save a trip to the hairdresser.
iused to do this, because i do not like glue or sew-ins,, i may have to start back, i have seen some really pretty hh wavy weave that i would like to try, ty so much,, really a great and inexpensive way to rock clip-ins,,also you are free to be more versatile,, tc
I've done this before. It's a hell alot cheaper. However, it's alittle difficult to do it on natural hair. Trust me...I tried. Lol. Unless you find some great matching hair
Thanks for this video..i've been wanting to make my own extensions, because the ones sold in the store are too high and they only have 14 inch and 18 inch clip in extensions. I don't want my extensions that long. I just want to add a little length and volume to my own hair.
Hey Diva that is just what I was going to do to my weave tracks instead of buying that crap you know the ones with the clips already attached which cost so much cause you know I dont wear weaves but I want to rock the weave tracks without bonding or sewing them in my hair, that is just what I was going to do with my tracks great video Diva
This was the same response I have to Ateyya's Milky Way clip in hair video. Why pay 60 dollars for a pack of clip in extensions when u can make your own?
@misspurpleladi Diva I was doing the same thing with my weave tracks I wanted to do my hair like Ateyaa but was not going to spend all that money as many wig clips as I have I was like nope I will sew them on my weave hair much cheaper and way easier being that I never had a weave I like clipping it in better
you must have read my mind. LOL I saw a video with clip hair, and went to a hair store to see about buying some. It was too expensive. so the lady in the store told me I could make my own. cost me hardly anything to get the same look.
hun by chance to you have a video on how i measure the tracks to cut them before i add the clips to then clip them in. I pulled it out the bag and its just one long ass strand of hair... lol im such a newbie to these kind of things
Part your hair from temple to temple in a "U" shape.
Hold the extension just below the part line to make sure it's comfy. leave a little hair out at both ends in order to cover the edge of the extension. Sew in your clips..and that's it.
yay!!!! im so glad you did this video darling!! i just got home from buying some hair extentions. I sure was a little lost on what to do next. thank you!! i also bought my first wig. I havent tried wearing it out nor in a video yet. lol
can I say I LOVE YOU finally for the sweating sisters in the summer bless you I am running now in my bedroom slippers to the hair store LOL thank you so much what should the length of the extensions be for the whole head? my hair is natural do I need a wig cap to attach the extensions to? i love the recycling eco friendly do it yourself thanks so much
i think you do a great job of hosting your videos. always enjoy watching. plus saving money is a really good thing. Think you have great idea. Please keep up the good work.
i was just thinking about how easy it would be to do this when i watched ateya's 7 pc vid yesterday! you always have something innovative & crafty for us! thanks for sharing
thanks! Too bad your links don't work :(
