None of my Japanese mates know her, it seems she's famous with a certain public only, which is quite stunning not only owing to her quality but also by the fact that most of her clips look expensive so she must have a demanding producer. But the Japanese have a very weird tastes sometimes lol

Strangely, it seems to be easier to obtain certain Japanese records in the US (I can find them Kinokuniya in SFO) than in Asia. Avex Japan & Avex Taiwan don't always see eye to eye.

OK, the issue is, that Avex Japan does not have the right to distribute records in regions covered by its subsidiaries. If Avex Taiwan chose not to carry her records, Avex Japan does not have the right to override them & distribute the records in Taiwan directly from Japan. It's not as ridiculous as it sounds, as corporations have sued themselves before.
