  • Amazing!!

  • Very nice sir. You sound great. I like this video where you show the chord changes in the background

  • This sounds amazing. Love the tone!

I am a big fan of Wes Montgomery.

Keep up the great work -subscribes- :-)

  • very cool!

  • What amp are you playing through? What size strings? Love your sound. I love that Peerless Monarch. I have one with a routed/set humbucker and its truly a poor mans Wes L5. Great stuff bro great tone and way to capture that Wes sound.

    Swing hard and groove easy

  • @jazzman3071 Thanks man. Don't have an Amp right now. Still looking. I am playing directly into my LapTop ( External Mic In ) through VirtualDub, using a Sony HD LifeCam Web Cam ( 1080p ) I use 18 Gauge Flat Wound Strings ( Cables ) just like WES. The Thumb plus the 18 gauges produces that fat Wes Sound.

  • @Bomberomusician 18!!! I thought I had thick strings with a 14-67 flatwound(Labella black nylon wrapped) and they sound great. I just dig the hell out of your playing!!

  • @Bomberomusician

Where do you find 18 gauge flat wound strings. Are you referring to the 18 Gage G string versus the E string?

  • @Jazzbuff12 The Low E String is 18 Gauge.....the rest are what follows.... I get them from

    guitarsnjazz

  • @Bomberomusician

The list of string gauges is missing.

  • @Jazzbuff12 I'm sorry. I was mistaken. The strings I'm using are the Thomastik-Infeld Vienna / George Benson Heavy Gauge GB114. From low E to High E: .055 .041 .031 .021w .018 .014

  • @Bomberomusician

Ha, ha, Thanks. Guess what? Those are the ones I use. I heard Wes perform live many, many, times. The stuff he did was "impossible" to do on the guitar. You have got his sound and your fingering reminds me of the way he used to play.

Kudos for a job well done. Wes would be proud.

  • @Jazzbuff12 I was just thinkin' that Bomber fingering reminded me of someone I'd seen in video...Oh yeah, WES! Keep 'em comin' Bomber!

  • @Bomberomusician

How did you go about learning how to play with three fingers like Wes? It there a book or instructions available?

  • @Jazzbuff12 No instruction other than watching Wes play. Using the three fingers

( playing jazz) I've noticed that I can get around on the fretboard with better accuracy. Now if you notice on my Strunz&Farah Spanish guitar material I use my pinky due to the speed neede for the scales. I also use a pick. Unlike Wes, I have been able to develop the thumb and a pick. I can use either... ;)

  • @Bomberomusician

I've started using three fingers and can also move around much better. It has required me to view the fretboard differently. It's interesting, I can play much faster with more accuracy. I don't know why, but it is better for me.

  • I love what you do !!!

  • Well done, man!

  • Thanks for the props guys! Love playing Wes's Stuff!

  • Como estas brother? Gracias por postearlo. Buena ejecuccion.

  • @sotonemuel Bien hermano gracias. No hay de que hermano. ¡Viva Wes!

  • Very Nice Sir...You would have made Wes Proud!!!

  • I wish I could play guitar like that.

  • @Wisebrother78 You CAN..... Practice..practice..practice... ;)

  • nice work
