So walk the walk, highwic. Show us your competence. Tell us precisely where Jupiter really is, and we'll go on from there.

Right now (UTC 20100207, 04:30), Jupiter is at RA/Dec* 22h 26m, -10°43'.
Again, any ASTRONOMER can verify that, and check it against any number of planetarium programs, or just by going outside with suitable viewing equipment at the right time.. (just after dusk - you'll need to be competent at this stuff, so there goes highwic..)
And, amazingly, Stellarium *agrees*. Gosh, who is likely to be wrong?

It's what I did, research on astromy sites, before making this statement. The Earth make a 24h rotation on itself and a 365 days rotation around de sun. If Jupiter is at the oposite side of sun that the earth is facing, no human eyes can see it till our rotation around the sun make us able to... and that's just at the end or march.
Jupiter can't be seen from anywher on earth till the end of march. She's at the other side of the sun. What u see is Mars and Saturn (or Venus), but definitly not jupiter
I would strongly suggest a little research on astronomy. Are you seriously not aware that differing parts of the planet get different views of the sky? That the angle of the ecliptic (look it up) VARIES significantly, meaning that a planet difficult to see in sun glare for one latitude, is *easily* visible from another?
I suggest you do that research, and maybe invest in a planetarium program so you can see for yourself. If all else fails, join an astronomy club.
Before implying 'misinformation', you may wish to familiarise yourself with how the skies work... you can see jupiter now it rises in my sky (eastern canada) around 2;30 am. Its bright as usual and looks the same as it always did.

It represents the "smiley face" conjunction in dec 2008, but there is a MAJOR, MAJOR flaw in the way he draws the smile there.
See if you can spot the terrible mistake.

Anyway he represents the smile in a position compatible with a morning view of the conjunction, but it was in the evening.

Which sites were those exactly?
From skymaps for *February*:
"Jupiter (is visible) 24° from Sun, morning sky"
From earthsky for FEBRUARY (17th):
"Itll be possible to spot all five visible planets tonight... Mercury, Mars and Jupiter wont climb into the sky until the wee hours before sunrise."
But *you* say not visible until late March. WRONG. Give a *link* that says that. And start actually watching the skies and maybe get up early.
