The S85 V10 is derived from Formula 1 techonology. It has more cylinders, but only 5.0L of displacement. It is designed to produce it's power from high revs. The LSX shares some of it's DNA with the LS7 & LS7.R. It makes power & torque with lower revs, and a jug of grunt.
The CTS-V will leave the M5 behind in the 1/4. The M5 is better suited to 120MPH rolls with it's revs around 5k, and circuit tracks. The M5 also comes with the SMGIII gearbox which adds on to it's price. Matter of preference.
BMW took a bailout too, just from Germany, not the US. Just like Honda and Toyota in Japan. All of the auto companies took bailouts from their respected countries except Ford.

You realize everything that seems far away this second will be reached the next second, so you focus as hard as you can, trying to make sure you're ready for whatever you see far away on the road. You eventually realize what you're doing is too dangerous and you've had your share of fun. You slow down. You hear your heart beating hard. You laugh, wipe tears and say "FUCK YEAH!".

it ends with the needle between the last two highlighed speed markers on guage, wich is 180 and 200, so he was going 190..

Actually the speedometer goes to 220 in the V, so this was more like 210-212mph.
My father has an automatic. It's truly an incredible car in every sense. I don't know how fast he's been, but he has pulled 1.01g turning right according to the g-meter. The steering is top-notch in feel and response.
Funny thing about the car is that it doesn't feel fast until you look at the speedometer. It's very refined.

imagine hitting a piece of metal in the road at this speed and your tire disintegrating. How do you know the road is perfectly clean to be safe to go this fast? anything goes wrong at this speed, and you are dead. instantly. fastest I ever went was about 140 and I'd never do it again...

I'll tell you what. I love the BMW M5 but this costs less, has less cylinders and yet more horsepower than BMW M5, Interior is very luxury just like the M5 but i would still say that BMW M5 looks so much nicer and elegant. Overall no matter how much I love BMW M5, I think this time I would buy this car. Well done Cadillac...

The S85 V10 is derived from Formula 1 techonology. It has more cylinders, but only 5.0L of displacement. It is designed to produce it's power from high revs. The LSX shares some of it's DNA with the LS7 & LS7.R. It makes power & torque with lower revs, and a jug of grunt.
The CTS-V will leave the M5 behind in the 1/4. The M5 is better suited to 120MPH rolls with it's revs around 5k, and circuit tracks. The M5 also comes with the SMGIII gearbox which adds on to it's price. Matter of preference.

... it would massacre cop cars. A BMW m3 driven by a 15 year old can out-run cops. Crown vics aren't that fast. The police chargers are fast, but not 190mph fast.
