i had bought a denon 3311ci last yr and it took a shit on me spent 1200 which isnt alot but mid range lost the video signal sent it in for repair and the hdmi curcuit board failed so it has to be refurbished and sent back its going to take a month sucks knowing what i know now i would buy this amp so i used my back up denon avr 887 which was 6 yrs old and it took a shit last night no audio grrrr im so frustrated
As usual, great video! I swear the way you shoot, and narrate your videos when unpacking new toys, makes me feel as if I'm right their with you. They totally get me all excited, as if I were making these upgrades. Lol keep those great videos coming! also just watched your newest home theater set up vid, and as a fellow owner of an svs ultra I have to ask, what were you thinking when adding that infinity sub? The Ultra alone is just beastly! Do you hate your neighbors? Lol
@bdkaka lol..i tried selling the Oppo and Denon, but none of my friends are into Home theatere, so they just saidf "what's an oppo? and what's a denon?" lol. I'll probably just hold on to them until i turn my guest room into a listening room.
WOW Brolic your doing some serious upgrade to you HT set up your gear is amazing best of the best keep the videos coming doing a great job cant wait to see your review on the Integra its going to be a big sound improvement.
Another great video. Are Integra products higher end versions of Onkyo components. I have had 3 Onkyo receivers in the past and they have been great. I'm looking to upgrade soon any may go with an Integra product. I also think I'm going to go with Paradigm Studio 100s for my front speakers. Have you had any experience with them? You seem like you do your research on home theater and wanted to get your opinion on the Paradigm. I can't wait to hear your review on the Integra.
@jmorr81 Thanks! Yeah think of Onkyo as a Toyota and Integra as a Lexus. both are very well made, but the Integras are the high-end machines with more capabilities, better sound, and overall a better high-end value. I've owned a few Onkyo's over the last few years--I actually have one in my Media Room upstairs (which i need to do an updated video on). The INtegras are head-and-shoulders above their little siblings.
