Hondas engines are much more efficient and require less boost to make power compared to say and evo which will runs nearly 20 lbs making only 300 hp. 20 lbs in a DC5 is well over 500. and you still can't compare them on paper. The only comparrison should be done in the real world wether on a track or on a dyno for the HP whores.

i think turbo civic si's are meaner. they seem to make better gains with turbo than rsx despite being nearly identical. 8 psi on a si = 400whp... 8 psi on an rsx = not 400 whp.

this is true, however the psi you can run thru your engine does matter. your block can only take so much boost before it blows or needs to be opened up. im not sure on the turbo size, but theyre making around 400whp on avg with about 8-10psi. so far i have yet to see a rsx with a kit like that.

No, engine internals are not rated by PSI. You have to open them up and upgrade internals to support power. The block can only support so much power before it blows. Again, boost is irrelevant. Ask any dyno tuner or professional builder and they'll tell you boost is just a stupid number kids in the parking like to use to brag. Again engines are strength rated by power, not a measure of pressure. Psi is just that ...a measure of pressure nothing more nothing less it should be discarded completely
