My duramax has a steel driveline. Oh and it pulls just fine and is 500 hp with stock charger, injectors, and cp3. Ford, Chevy, Dodge they all have there pros and cons.

@randytune88 driveshaft? or ujoint? ive never had a problem with my driveshafts but mine are still steel. most of wat i c are dodges break the front axle shaft itself and fords fords drop front driveshafts. GM sometimes has problems with the cv shafts if they dont get them set level when pulling

Many dodges do it, different from the rest, dodges breake when there stock. I use trucks for work, and cars for play, this, this is called truck torture. Something no one in there right mind should do stock. Driveshaft is about 3 inches thick, want to see a thin one? Come look at my c4 vette. If i tried that itd break the vette also.

went to a machine shop they made a custom built drive shaft for it and now i can pull a tank and that shaft wont even twist.
