I haven't been able to see him live but have been waiting forever for him to come back around Alabama. Does he sing a lot of Nashville stuff or his old stuff? I like both, obviously I like the old stuff better, but both are pretty good. Just want to know what to expect when I am buying tickets.
I Love this version of your song Pat.... I met you several times when I was working @ Billy Bobs Texas still have the cowboy hat you signed for me back stage. The next time the beer is on me... :o)
Let me start by saying I am from Texas, and love Texas Music. Pat Green is a Great Texas Artist. but the truth is he does not write all his songs, as a matter of fact he did not write this one. However another great Texas songwriter did... Alan Shamblin!

@texasmusicguy Thats great that another Texas songwriter wrote the song and its a great song but.... Pat Green is the one who recorded it and He did a great job...
I LIKE IT PFG. THESE WHITE TRASH SPEAK WHERE IS THE TEXAS COUNTRY ...? TELL THEM WHY MAKE 1 MILLION WHEN YOU CAN WRITE GREAT MUSIC AND STILL MAKE 43 MILLION. I HAVE SEEN YOU AT JOHN T'S DANCE HALL AND COWBOYS IN SAN ANTONE YOUR STILL PAT GREEN . YOUR THE MAN
Love me some Pat Green with the best of them but hes not Texas anymore after going to nashville, I CAN NOT stand the new country "nashville" music anymore
@07kawa650i He lives in Fort Worth ass..He is Texas country..its called growing up and evolving as an artist. I cant believe all ya'll who are talking about Nashville this and Nashville that. Pat writes his songs so who cares where his record label is based out of..gimme a break.
@greennova1 yeah buddy got ya... I'm born and raised Texas and will always live here, I know who he is and what he is about, been to many of his concerts, love most his songs but the more recent ones aren't what i'm accustom to in his music, thats what i was meaning to say, I guess after re-reading what I had wrote I should of worded it different
Sorry bro, but Pat Green is no longer Texas Country. He signed his life away with Nashville Records man. He even wrote a song about being a Nashville Star. So I dunno what to tell ya man. Want Texas music? Look up Bleu Edmonson or Wade Bowen
AMEN!!! I rocked pat green all through high school and he really turned me on to the whole texas scene and then it went down hill for him. Randy Rogers band is an example of a band that can play what they want and still make awesome money doing it.
Isn't it ironic that all the messages in these kinds of country songs are passionately liberal, yet when they stop singing all these guys are shrieking right-wingers?
We need some new PAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
