  • my auntie had a collie when i was little and i remember running away through the woods and it was getting late and dark and i saw this tip of white in the distance almost like a lantern and i followed it thinking it was Gyp it led me out the woods and when i got home my auntie told me that Gyp hadn't been out for most the day i was amased and i swear down it was her x

  • its nice to see a dog happy and looking healthy after what they have been through with their previous owners

  • It's not often I want to Kill and eat a fellow human being...but the previous owners should be served up with a good Chianti

  • Thank God for Border Collie resues!!!

  • sad but theres a good out come she got the help that she needed and a good home

  • i love this dog...poor thing how cud annybody be soo cruel 2 a poor helpless animal , the ppl dat did this should be locked away for a long time ,

animals should be treated the same way you would like to be treated .....she is soooo cute !!!!!!!!!!

  • thankyou so much for loving this beutiful dog it deserves the care it gets with its new owners

  • I bet most people here talking about how much they despise animal cruelty eat animals slaughtered in factory farms.

  • Don't the pound itself leaves dogs like that in cages monthly?

  • its so sad that people could do that to such a beautiful animal :( but its good that there are people out there willing to help thankyou

  • My wife and I have now adopted Natalia and her friend Jess and they are settling in very well.

They are both very loving dogs and seem very happy in their new home.

  • @NataliasNewHome Hope you will be posting a video of them both on your channel - so we can link to it!!!

  • @NataliasNewHome people like yourselves are wonderful i am so pleased you have taken in this amazing girl

  • SHIT, how STUPID and CRUEL has someone to be to do such thing???

Keeping her closed is a huge crime and a manifastation of total mental disturbance!!!

This is an unspeakably beautiful BC girl, so sweet, so clever... I regret I'm not her happy owner...

Damn, I got pissed off. That should be 200 years of unpaid work, not 200 days!

  • DEAD for that stupid people who make that cruelty in animals!

  • she looks like cat that has been living in flat whole life and suddenly brought outside...

  • she is absolutely beautiful! stupid assholes. why have an animal if you dont want to love it

  • Poor dog,it's previous owners deserve to die.

  • That dog is gorgeous! I love the collies with different colour eyes. I am so so glad she has a new home now!

  • Awwww! I have been looking for a Bc for ages! This story, is sad at the beginning, but happy at the end

    R.I.P to the Dobermann x

  • This is an amazing and to begin with sad story but i think even though its just one dog, its wonderful whta the RSPCA can do to help animals, she looks really happy in her new home. i have a border collie who would be jelous about the herding sheep!

  • Poor baby. I'm glad she got away from her old life. Oh, but look how easily she takes to the sheep due to instinct! Lol. It's adorible. :) What a gorgeous dog.

  • At the beginning I WAS CRYING : **( But at the end i had a big smile : ))

  • How on earth could people do this to an animal let alone a border collie!! They deserve to have the same treatment placed on them!! See how they would like it!! *is angry*

  • at the begining it bought tears to my eyes but when she was trying to herd the sheep it bought a smile to my face

  • 2 cute

  • She is so sweet and beautiful it brang me to tears when the words "she was kept in a kitchen for two years" god bless her

  • that's all those bastards got? they should have gotten solitary confinement for 2 years in a 6x8 cell, no bed, no toilet. so they can learn what the dogs went through.

  • @brownbigb I agree 1000%

  • Great job!! LOL her reaction to those sheep was like my BC's He wasn't sure why but he KNEW he was supposed to do SOMETHING with those animals!! LOL he tries to herd my horses but they aint havin none of that, so he contents himself with herding the cat back inside and riding around in my truck and chasing sticks and balls He is a GREAT dog!! Y'all keep it up !! I wish I was able to donate something to help y'all

  • I am so happy this beautiful dog got another chance. Kudos for the great work. I cannot believe the excuses for the dogs' previous condition and the subsequent death of Charmaine. Maybe I just do not understand the extent of ignorance there is?!?

  • The owners should have gotten 2 years in a prison cell, solitary confinement, just like they did to their dogs.I have a border collie, and i know that without exercise, she will go crazy. luckily, we go on 2 + mile walks everyday. god have mercy on all the animals in the world

  • I want to become and RSPCA Inspector. :o)

That collie is soo gorgeous, I hope that she is well settled into a new home now.

  • Has this dog gone to a new home yet then??

  • What a wonderful, happy dog who is fortunate to be able to look forward to a long and happy life.

Our Border Collie, Toby, was a rescue dog and lived a long and happy life of 13 years. But when asked by others where they could get a Border Collie, I would always tell them that they weren't meant for everyone and needed space and stimulation. It was almost like having another child! I miss you, my old friend.

  • we always get dogs from rescue centers, about 4 months ago we rescued a 2 year old collie who had been locked away inside and he was so scared of being outside and being around other dogs but now he's fabulous, one of the best dogs we've ever had. i think it's great and such an uplifting thing to do by rescuing a dog but it's a shame that there's still not enough people helping these poor souls.

  • this dog is so beautiful and intelligent. thank God there are people like you who do believe in rebuilding a broken dog. i hope you receive more blessings. i also have a border collie. he is very obedient his name is Sasuke. many people here always say that i waste my time and money for just a dog the mere fact that we are not rich. (coz here in the Philippines they say only those who have gazillions of dollars can breed dogs with pedigree) all dogs are special they are not just dogs.

  • Its tragic what some half to endure my heart goes out to this beautiful little dog.

I hope the future has everything wonderful instored for you ..

  • Im happy to see these dogs have been saved!

  • Whoever does this to an innocent creature should have the same thing done to them and then some.

  • That is my dream dog!

  • THIS IS DISGUSTING people are sooooo cruel!! WHO THE HELL IN THEIR RIGHT MINDS WOULD DO THIS?

  • People with no hearts it seems would do this.

  • Finally, the dog is in good condition and hopefully one fine day, it will move to a loving and caring new home. I am very pleased that RSPCA gave her a new lease of life and i congratulate them on behalf of all animal lovers.

  • @bubloo9945

I'd give her a loving home except i already have two dogs so i don't have enough room.

  • i have a border collie did you see the cute dog when they said the lead changed hands the dog looked back and was suprized and kept looking back. Dogs don't deserve to be treated this way their so loyal.

  • she's beautiful hope she has a kind loving home all dogs should have one

  • Whenever you see or hear of someone ill treating an animal you should speak up and do something about it! Animals do not have voices we are their voices!

So be strong and dont ignore animal abuse!!!

  • im so glad the dog's fine now.its was so frightened before

  • Aw poor dog! I am happy she is happy and healthy dog now!

  • i got my border collie from a rescue too she was smacked in the ribs with a baseball bat and tied under a trailer with her puppies shes the best dog imaginable i love her so much and if i ever find the guy that abused her i swear ill kill him slow and painful

  • they should smack these pre owners in the face, that was sad.

  • chances are it was some demented old woman keeping her in the kicthen.

  • hope she finds a home soon with all the love she deserves

  • I am so glad thoughs people actully beasts are never allowed a pet again i wish they saved that other dog that was there with her well they did save it but it got put down. i fill sad when animals are mistreated they dont do anything bad to us:(:(:(

  • wow. wow. wow. what a beautiful dog and the handler is inspiring me. tears of joy for natalia. she is very lucky to get u to help her. my dog circled alot even tho i took him for walks and play and kids he was happy tho. i think they just got so much energy!! love them sooo much

  • go Natalia go! good girl. im proud of ya!

  • my dog tipper was a joy to have and so protective. how cud anyone abuse an animal is beyond my understanding

  • im so with you, my border collie (recently died from 'collie heart' (a heart attack)) was found like this he couldn't eat wet food and had to be given 2 years of preperations b4 we could have him, had that son of a bitch farmer not done what he did he could have lived longer, arsehole, i miss him so much R.I.P. Seamus

  • Poor baby :'(

  • Such a beautiful dog - God bless the Rspca and the wonderful people at the Border collie rescue for giving her a second chance at life :) I love animals it distresses me greatly to see them hurt.

  • Great story and fantatsic work.

B.C's are SUCH special animals. I've had the honour and complete pleasure of being gifted with two.

    I adore all B.C's.

So happy that there is an organisation looking after the ones that are not treated as they should be.

    Fantastic work!

  • what a beautiful story and what amazing work you do! Thanks for sharing this. I have a rescued BC who had been abused mentally and physically and it has taken us a full 2 years to heal his deep emotional wounds. I am so proud of the amazing dog he is! Keep up the inspiring work :)

  • Great work guys. Its nice to know there are people out there helping animals. All you hear on the news is the horror cases and sometimes you think are there good people out there?

once again great job guys please continue to help animals

  • :'(

  • i've got 2 collies brother and sister. uh i love em so much. both such a great dogs for me, makes me wonder why somebody wants to hurt this dogs so badly that they end up in shelter? and then one that adopted them then advertised em cos thinking no longer keep up with them dogs. so i bought them & promised dogs I'll take good care of them. So I hope they are happy..I dunno what are they thinking when they looking at me like im a potato head..lols

  • I adopted a Border Collie last year. He had been abused so I have to get creative on ways to train him. I still have yet to teach him the basic commands such as sit and others but he excels beyond the basic commands. I am guessing his abuse was physical because of how jumpy he can be and if you try to push his butt to the floor for sit his body locks up tight and he just won't sit...lol...but everything else he is wonderful with....ppl need to understand this breed seems to never sleep

  • omg that so made me cry..how cud anyone be so horrible to an animal:(

  • This made me cry. I have a Border Collie, he goes on a long walk, with the neighbours dogs. Everytime at 10pm. He's asking right now!

    Hope she gets well

  • You people do wonderful work. It's sad that so many people are not informed when they get a Border Collie. They simply want a clever dog and don't realise the amount of mental and physical stimulation they require. I would mention something about the fact that she still circes occasionally. I have two collies myself and have been around many (country boy). I've seldom met one that doesn't still do the occasional circle. Far from being indicative of distraction, it merely proves she's a collie.

  • I am so sick and tired of people who get dogs without having a clue or a care about how to take care of them properly. If you want a pretty dog...buy a stuffed animal!

  • Border collies are the best! But they need lots of mental and physical stimulation. If you have a border and dont provide that, you are torturing them! Many thanks to Border Collie Rescue for their fantastic, life affirming work!

  • Very touching. I'm glad Natalia can now enjoy her life. Thank you guys for your great job.

  • Very inspiring and shows great love for the breed - please keep up the excellent work! There is a special place in heaven for you!

  • nice one, lovely dog, i've got a rescue collie too,i wouldn't have any other breed now

  • Lovely story, had me crying tears for her at the start but I was smiling in the end. Great work people...keep it up :))

  • Why are people so cruel?

  • What great work you do, as a rescue collie owner i know what great dogs they are. Makes me so sad to know that there's more Natalia's that will never be rescued...

  • Hi elginsteve,

We understand a new home is lined up for her and at the moment she is spending time with different foster homes, two weeks at a time, which is broadening her socialisation and teaching her to cope with new people and situations.

In between she goes back to the centre and is monitored and re-assessed.

There is no rush. BCR does not push dogs out quickly for the sake of statistics on re-homing.

That's why we support them - they are different to so many other rescues.

  • Wow, I really admire you folks. You have done a great job with this dog and after all she went through she really deserved a break. Well done ***** from me and fav.

  • Hi dogmanjohn, Yes, a lovely and nice natured dog who has been through a lot and come out the other side with a few scars.

Nicki at the centre has done a great job in bringing her round.

    Thanks for the comment.

  • Great video and awesome rescue and rehabilitation! This brought tears of joy to me. Thanks to all the work you do, the world is a much brighter place. :O)

  • Hi debswildhoney

Thanks for the comment. Glad we brought tears of joy rather than sorrow.

It's a shame people that view this can't meet the dog.

After all the problems she has had it is amazing how loving she is and touching to find that she is most undemanding and grateful for lifes little pleasures.

The people that did this to her were not malicious or nasty folk, they didn't beat her.

This cruelty came from lack of care.

The sad thing is that there is a lot more still going on.
