I have to say, I was really confused by all the anti BSL talk on dog videos. Mostly because I initially recognized it as British Sign Language and I was trying to make the connection to dogs. Anyways, the thought that breed specific legislation will stop people from owning a certain breed by making the breed illegal is laughable.

BSL is fucken ridiculous, isn't it funny how the wankers pushing BSL have no knowledge of these "dangerous" dogs, they just look at a piece of paper with statistics and read the bullshit that the media loves to publish to make a quick buck. It's never vets, dog organisations or good dog trainers pushing these bans, hell my vet owns two Staffordshire bull terriers. Some real killers in this vid, they are almost as aggressive as my Staff - check her out in my videos.
BSL is breedism (simular to racism). advocates of BSL don't tell the whole truth. 'Pitbull" attack studies include attacks from about a dozen "pit-bull-type" breeds and mixes of these breeds. The majority of "pitbull" attacks are not from American Pit Bull Terriers. All non "pitbull" breeds do not have their stats lumped together. Unfair isn't it? This is how breedism/racism works.

ok, I know I'll get thumbs down for this, but while I think that no animal should be killed by the government for the sake of killing, I also think that the pitbull is NOT a good breed of dog. unless, of course, you WANT a dog that will kill every animal it can. now, here is MY solution, let pit bulls live, on the grounds they be neutered or spayed. (whatever you call it) that way, families won't lose their pets, and pit bulls won't harm anyone.
Pitbulls won't harm animals if properly socialized and trained. I owned a pitbull and he never went after any of our cats or rabbits or chickens or ferrets. My friends pitbull was trained not to go after any animal unless he told her to, and even then she released on command to.

I am so sorry, why did they put her down? My Taylor was nine and I miss her a lot, she had so much energy and loved to play and loved everyone. The meter man would come and he would play with her for ten minutes but I had to go and bring the chow/golden retreiver in because he was so tempermental.I now have a 12 week old black lab and she is a mess, my she can get wet and dirty before I turn around.
That is a shame, they are a real misunderstood breed. They require a lot of attention and one on one. My new lab puppy is hard headed we are slowly coming around.

This vid has really brought tears to my eyes. BSL is coming to the UK and as the owner of two rescue dogs, a rottweiller and a staffordshire bull terrier who have both been through so much and yet are both so loving it terrifies me.
My GSD/GRT mix says no to BSL. I love my girl and it scares me that I may lose her some day to this crap. My husband is in the USAF and fights to defend the very people who are killing our dogs, it scares us that we may be stationed somewhere she could die. We should not have to have a back up plan with family JUST INCASE, we should not have to worry.

Since I owned an Ampit mix before, I'm owning a staffordshire bull terrier when I get the chance to get one myself.
It shall be named Vulcan Raven if it's a boy and Bettie Page if it's a girl. If I gotta help my dogs live without breed prejudice, that is exactly what I am going to do.
