I caught Thundurus without a Master Ball. I recommend you DON'T use it, unless you're lazy..

@ExplodingWolf That's a good strategy, unless you have something that can keep it in battle. Best bet would be a Dugtrio or Trapinch with Arena Trap, or a speedy Pokemon that knows Block or Mean Look. I laughed at myself actually. I walked north of Opelucid city in a White version I just rented, and found it raining. I got so mad when I checked the bag and didn't find a repel of any kind. It left the area after 2 random wild battles.

@AbsolsRazorWind Arena Trap would fail both, cause flying types disregard Arena Trap. Shadow Tag or like you said, block/mean look would be an awesome combo

I cant catch tornadus. I used my masterball on that white fire chicken. every time I encounter it I false wiped it to 1 HP and my quick balls dont work. my dusk balls at night don't work.

and make sure the pokemon is fast so it can go first
