3d Animation bug

So the background is real? When you animated the bug, did you just render it with a green background? Reason I am asking, is because I would like to make a video, out of my car, and then add a 3D model of another car next to mine, so it would appear as if I am next to this vehicle that all of the sudden transforms into a robot.

it toke me abut six days

the background was shot tracked in bugo 1.0 and the bug was made in lightwave 8.5 and composted in after fx 7.0 at HDRI 16 bit ;)
