But it will NEVER engage the audience like this match between Hogan and Andre did. 80,000 plus (or 93,000 according to WWF) at the Silverdome. 33 million people watching them face each other in 1988 at "The Main Event". Let's see "The Miz" draw numbers like that.

Problem is what main event could you promote to sell that thing out. They have nothing left now, especially with CM Punk leaving.

@DarthCipient : I personally contacted the representatives at the Pontiac Silverdome about 9 years ago. 93,173 was an REAL official world indoor attendance record that stood until Cowboy Stadium started hosting events. I know the 2010 NBA All-Star game was around 108,713. Of course, if WWE hosted a Wrestlemania there they probably could best that number. Problem is what main event could you promote to sell that thing out. They have nothing left now, especially with CM Punk leaving.
