@rustyjames761 dude I started when I was 27, im almost 30 now.. I had no guitar knowledge at all, and I can play quite a bit of stuff now. I started with chord, A, then D, then E and pentatonic scale. The key is to make yourself do it! and get through the first few months of no music just noise lol... after that its get much easier. Also if your someone that gets bored quick like me, I skipped all the boring stuff and started with songs I really wanted to play, it keeps you inspired to play.

i have a 1977 Gibson Les Paul. It was made on December 28th 1977 at the Kalamazoo Plant. I'd like to get them humbuckers splittable. My father swapped the pickups in the early 80s. Also it would need a fretting job and has some scratches and dongs on the body. When I got it it didn't have a pickguard. I got in 2003 from one of my mother's friends 16 years after my father's dead.

I'd like to play it. What would you do?
