  • Waking up was the punishment, to find out we are all alone, we all have split personality disorder and we are all talking to our own self. That we cried our self to sleep and we are all dreaming. Why do you think everyone just wants to go to sleep and never wake up. Because that's what God did. And we are God.

  • And an insomiac which didn't help lol.

  • ..but then again, I used to be an adrenaline junky. It was my nature. So I seemed to need it. A bit too curious.

  • ..that's when you snap back to reality and instead focus on the beauty on front of you. Plenty of down to earth entertainment. No need to be "far out." lol. I went through that phase and it becomes kind of hellish. You feel like you are "one with the universe" but really you are just space out. It does make you a stronger person though. And how would you be willing to face what would be boring(this world) if you didn't live a spaced out life for awhile.

  • @CheddarBob39 The reality we experience isn't even "normal", but it's "us". You need to tune in, somehow, to experience MORE of it. And it becomes overwhelming, as you explore more and more of it. Like when we extend our perception and explore space. Spacing out? Not really. More like extending your consciousness and tuning into reality around you. Psychedelics will let you experience the unimaginable. Also, smoking some pot takes the "boring" aspect of life away for me, entirely ;)

  • ...I would much rather be reading a good novel now than be spaced out in some weird world on a drug addicted high. But you cannot deny that there are experiences out of this world, or within our minds that cannot really be put into words. But those experiences are what you get sick of when you stay there long enough. But you do learn a lot from them, but when you get that there isn't anything really you can "know" or "learn" from it, it is just a weird experience, and you truly get sick of it.

  • "It always wakes up and comes back to itself." Yes, basically saying stop being spaced out living in a fantasy world and instead focus on what is, what can be dealt with/worked with. If you want "reality" there it is. Right on front of you. Just live, if you want to live off in a spaced out world with thoughts of poetic nonsense you can. After awhile you will get sick of it, and that is when you go back to "reality(yourself.)" lol. I am at that point right now.

  • IMO All that I believe what life is, Is that we are just a fragment of are own minds dreams of Fright

  • @brandonpuckalo so if it is you that truly believes in what you've said, it is not your opinion, but everyones.

  • I'm Christian and I don't feel guilty. Jesus didn't die to make us feel guilty! He died to give us eternal life!

  • @1prettyricky Aw. Cheer up!! Xoxo hope you feel better.

  • the dalai lama does good, sri ramana maharshi, not so much

  • im so depressed

  • @1prettyricky it'll be alright

  • @1prettyricky Why??

  • greetings

  • If you liked this i highly recommend the video "Alan Watts - you are god in the dance of life" - you may see the link in the right hand column.

  • Contemplate much less the 'I shall progress,' Than the 'I' stand in 'my way'.

  • The truth lies in all of us you just have to look deep enough to find it. Thank you

  • I wish I was a hobbit, not giving a shit about anything and smoking the finest weed in all of the Shire.

  • @Tengent best comment ive read in a while!! :)

  • @Tengent word man, eating some delicious hobbit cakes, mmmmm..

  • music with this? common, just ridiculous

  • @MonTicheDansTaMere Is not music part of the whole play of existence? Doesn't music express the deepest truth of all life which is to dance in the play of existence? I do understand your feeling if this is not your favored style of music. But still.

  • To be perfectly frank, the music makes it difficult for me to focus on what he's saying and the decision to include it in this video was a poor decision.

  • @Snipe4261 - Given that of all the videos i've uploaded this has received the most likes (over 1000) i suspect that not everyone would agree with you. On the other hand, i can upload a second version (without music) for those who feel as you do. It's going to be unlisted but I'll put the url address in the info area below this video once it's completed. Please feel free to contact me via PM if you can't find it.

  • @chasefukuoka61 Fair enough. Thanks.

  • So there's no point to the lessons we come here to learn?...it's all just a trick of the ego??

  • @supercell42 when one has truly awakened your lessons become apparent. That is a necessary part of the experience.

  • @supercell42 - maybe that's the point? To realize how tricky the ego can be.

  • @chasefukuoka61 ouuuuu, maybe shmaybe

  • @supercell42 the only way to life is through death, just as the only way to die is through life... for they are both the same component wrapped up in itself like the force of a magnet.

  • @supercell42 The way I see it there is a point. In this game of "hide and seek" we play with ourselves there may be a lesson to learn. Not in the way our individual "self" learns a lesson but in the way our combined self learns. The way we seek awakening, maybe our awakened selves seek awakening as well and go into this sleep state to find help in their awakening. Maybe all our other lessons learned were just to help us understand what we are looking for.So our combined self can wake it's self.

  • @sirfearlessone - that sounds about right.

  • @homevideowatcher78. Wayyyyyyy ahead of you... Haha

  • Just for xperimental purposes, smoke weed while listening to Mr watts ..

  • The magic word is: Life.

  • @spiridulla - yess!

  • Fantastic! Thank you or posting and thank you, Alan.

  • Thanks very much for this post----one of THE best on YT.

  • @Dionysos37 - ((☮))

  • Watts' book "THIS IS IT" is still an amazing read----highly recommended, track it down and open your whole spirit....

  • Life isn't serious. And i mean that in a very positive way :) Lets enjoy!

  • at 2:50 that laugh sounds very profound to me

  • Interesting video!

This is an invitation to anyone or everyone see an artist theory on the physics of light and time!

This theory is based on two postulates

    1. Is that the quantum wave particle function Ψ represents the forward passage of time ∆E ∆t ≥ h/2π itself

    2. Is that Heisenberg’s Uncertainty Principle ∆×∆p×≥h/4π that is formed by the w- function is the same uncertainty we have with any future event that we can interact with turning the possible into the actual!

  • Whoa. That was awesome.

  • hey all checkout my watts uploads and my zen playlist.....much love 2 all

  • amazing.thank you for posting this.i am on my waking up

  • A well chosen and beautifully presented video my friend!

  • I see people mentioned christianity a bit ago. I have asked some christians in the past if they were willing to suffer eternal damnation so one soul could go to heaven. Sacrificing their place in heaven for another who was sent to hell. Sadly most answered in a selfish manner. Either my question is crazy or many are not like Christ and are only worried about themselves.

  • @blkcpdconure Same type of question "How will you manage the enjoy heaven, while knowing hell, without being psychopaths". They can't answer because they're playing a game... we all do somewhere. They don't want logic in their spirituality; they were indoctrinated into stories, not reality. Any dimension of their belief can be easily scratched to reveal an obvious illusion, game layered on top of the one we all play, the objective reality game. That's where the wall of faith exists.

  • @blkcpdconure Guru to his disciple; "I shall give you a secret mantra, a mantra that will liberate you from all suffering & give you eternal life. But there is one condition, you must NEVER reveal the mantra to anyone or you will go down to hell." OK, says disciple. On hearing the mantra, the disciple went straight outside & bellowed it from his heart for all to hear. "what have you done? says Guru." Disciple says "Better to free the many, than to free just me!! He'd past the test!

  • what means "liberation"? is the end of life? what is nirvana? or moksha?

if we are eternal beings, how could you possibly disappear? where you go? what happens when you awaken? please, answer at those questions, i really need it (sorry for my bad english, it's not my mother language)

  • @gigimontrucchio You need to read The Bhagavad gita [AS-IT-IS] 1972 ed, by Srila Prabhupada, to answer all your querys on the soul and liberation.

  • Deep.

  • this is interesting stuff!

  • What's the music in this video?

  • @nick10733 - Its two songs, Kitaro- "Endless Water" and "Tree" from Kitaro's album "Ki".... If you look in the info area below the video you'll find a link to them...

  • @chasefukuoka61 Thanks! :)

  • i dont get it

    CG

  • So, I've finally found the SMARTEST VIDEO on YT...mission accomplished!

  • Im Awake!:-)

  • @atomiclydia - ☮ ..!

  • the end of duality

  • just keep loving all. that's not liking all but allowing all to be. if your God, what ever name you give it , has allowed everything to be , how can you not. i dont control what i get , only what i give. humility is not a virtue , just a logical daily posture. i have reached the understanding, that understands nothing. i am continually unlearning. climbing down the mountain of man made knowlege , until i come to level ground. there i wait for further instructions. while waiting why not be kind.

  • @Derekspop - Nicely stated...!!

  • But what happens when we all wake? Do all of our egos dissolve as we merge to become a single entity - God? Then what of our existence? Our individuality? What will happen to our day and night, the peak and the trough, our yin and yang as we all awaken? Our universe will no longer exist as it does but instead be a single thing. There will be no beauty to contrast the ugliness, no duality, at least from what I can imagine. Or I could be wrong.

  • @bstmanversusskeletor - As the saying goes "when you awaken, you (as a separate identity) won't be there." Its like characters in a dream, they dissolve upon awakening. We are not all these individual characters we believe ourselves to be, we are the dreamer.

  • @chasefukuoka61 Do other people exist? Am I the dreamer and everyone else around me imagined... or are we all dreamers experiencing the same dream?

Also, when we awaken from the dream can we go back in it when we wish, still retaining our knowledge of self as All/God?

  • @bagies Nobody knows...or not? Maybe, maybe not. Who knows?

  • @bagies - asked "Do other people exist? Am I the dreamer and everyone else around me imagined... or are we all dreamers experiencing the same dream? Also, when we awaken from the dream can we go back in it when we wish, still retaining our knowledge of self as All/God?" - From the POV Watts presents the Universe/God is the Dreamer and we are all characters in the dream, each experiencing our little corner, so within the same dream but different perspectives. Awakening is realizing that deeply.

  • @bstmanversusskeletor I'm no expert but what I think is that in the completeness those things are still present, but just experienced directly, like sensing your own heart beat. Everything that you named and everything else is right there with you. And so in awakening you experience totality, and thus you become those dualities and they become you.

  • @bstmanversusskeletor everything remains

  • @bstmanversusskeletor Good questions :)

Speaking from experience, I can state that my individuality did not end when I had an experience of oneness with all that is.

I realized that I am a particle of a single entity, much like you could consider a cell in your body one individual particle, but even so, still one with the body itself.

These truths are already in place, from my perspective, it is not about creating this.

To me, it is about becoming aware of it, remembering.

    Namaste

  • Yes! ((( @WhiteWolf1088 ))) that is how i understand it as well. There is One Awareness, One Mind behind all our eyes. Think of the Big Bang, at that moment there was a Unity, but then Mind unfolded itself as energy, and matter, evolving planets and galaxies. We look around us and we see multiplicity, but its all One Creative Activity, One Dreamer. That's what Awakening points to.

  • @WhiteWolf1088 I've felt the feeling and continue to seek it every moment that I remember. For me, it's a feeling of deep peace and joy. I just want to intensify that feeling at every moment. It's within all of us, there to be discovered by anyone who seeks it. It's not there to be analyzed by the mind because it is much simpler than we can imagine. You can give it meaning by describing it but it is no more than a feeling. That's my understanding of it.

  • @bstmanversusskeletor Your understanding is correct, from my point of view.

It is sort of like a base-energy, from which all springs forth.

It is very simple and subtle, which is why it is easy to let it go unnoticed by all the ''noise'' our minds can make.

I understand your longing to be in this state more often, and more intensely.

I'll continue this in a second reply:

  • @bstmanversusskeletor Like I said, because of the ''noise'' it can be hard to become aware of, and for me, ignoring or resisting the noise does not work.

What I find enables me to be in this state more often than not, is to allow myself to ''process'' the ''noise'', feel the ''negative'' emotions, because for me, that is how they are quickly dissolved.

And allowing myself to deal with these emotions (+ meditation) creates more silence in which it can be percieved more clearly.

    Namaste :)

  • @WhiteWolf1088 @bstmanversusskeletor - Hi guys. Have either of you read "Zen Mind Beginner's Mind" by Shunryu Suzuki, or "Miracle of Mindfulness" by Thich Nhat Hanh? They get at this cultivating of silence and peace, noticing emotions and thoughts as they arise but learning to ground ourselves in the moment, our surroundings, breathing, awareness of this NOW we all share. This is the path also described in the Tao te Ching, and by modern Advaita teachers like Adyashanti or Mooji. ☮

  • @chasefukuoka61 I haven't, but that sounds exactly like what I (intend) on doing in every moment, and succeed at quite often lately.

Sometimes, what can be called Karma kicks in and I love the little challenges and opportunity for growth it presents.. but they do ''disrupt'' the silence more often than not (or rather I choose to react in a certain way which disrupts the silence)

For me, it is all about living consciously, and learning to pacify a conditioned mind (not by force/struggle though)

  • @chasefukuoka61 My hope is that eventually, as I keep allowing the mind to spew it's lovely chatter, it will run out of steam and the wheel will stop turning, as it were :)

  • @WhiteWolf1088 - that can happen, but having a specific method of practice seems to be essential, imo. Are you meditating regularly? Practicing yoga or tai chi, mindfulness? There's a lot of good methods out there, all focused on getting us to focus on the moment, our bodies or breathing, settling into the Field of Awareness behind our scattered thoughts, the Sacred Silence that brought this Universe into being. As Pema Chodren put it- "You are the sky. Everything else, it’s just the weather.”

  • @chasefukuoka61 Actually I practice awareness meditation on a daily basis, usually twice a day.

Today I woke up late, didn't have time to meditate or make a green smoothie, went to a party, did some alcohol, and now I'm in this fucked up ego state of being.

Well at least I learned that meditation and the green diet really *was* the maintaining factor in my awakened state lol :)

I will get past this, just will start off with meditating and a nice green smoothie tomorrow.

  • @WhiteWolf1088 - lol, sleep well bro...! Life's indeed a lot like Bill Murray in "Groundhog Day"... just be careful... (smile)

  • @WhiteWolf1088 MY goodness I'm also doing meditation by Abraham Hicks, and morning Green Smoothies by Victoria Boutenkou. Someone like me!!!

    CHEERS BIG TIME TO U!

  • @bstmanversusskeletor What Chase said also rings true to me in some distant way, like a vague memory.

I believe what he says, that I am not this character, but have yet to experience it as such.

  • i was a world before i was a man, i was a creacher before i could stand, i will remember before i forget. im not going to forget that.

  • Allan Watts, what a true mystic I miss his beautiful mind. I discovered him when I was 15yrs old; I was up late(couldn't sleep) and was playing with the radio and suddenly came across his lectures and readings and his conversations pertaining to metaphysics just blew me away. Although, as I grew up and wandered out into the world and traveled through have of it, I came to a point where I thought everything is a waste of time because in the end we simply die and it is as if we were never here at

  • @zoso1234 I've come to a point in my life where everything is a waste of time, but when i look at the smile on my little boy's face I realize all that matters is being in the now....enjoying every moment of life love and happiness because there is also misery, loneliness and death so nothing really matters except NOW....I believe that Allan Watts touched upon this and his message is simply BE because we all have a finite space of time here on planet earth and we all will disapear eventually.

  • @zoso1234 - wise words friend...!

  • only 52,000??!@!@!we need to SPREAD THE WORD!!!! USE PROPOGANDA TECHNIQUES!!!! THERE SHOULD BE MILLIONS OF US - Children of Earth- WHO OBTAIN THIS KNOWLEDGE!!! MORE PEOPLE SHOULD KNOW ABOUT AND LISTEN TO MEN LIKE- ALAN WATTS, TERENCE MCKENNA, AND TIMOTHY LEARY!!!

  • @villageraider - Hey, have you checked out Mooji? His videos are also here on youtube.

  • @villageraider Relax, those who are ready to wake up, will, we do not preach like every other religon.

  • @villageraider @JayDee98765 - A friend put it this way "We are already always "enlightened" in our natural state of formless (non-physical) consciousness, but we temporarily set aside our awakeness in order to enter into the virtual reality manifestation represented by this realm, where we come to test ourselves and plumb the depths of our beingness. Nobody has ever attained enlightenment in this realm, in very same sense that no dream character actually exists to be enlightened."

  • @chasefukuoka61 I agree completely... sounds like what Steve Hagens wrote in his books, you should check em out.

  • @chasefukuoka61

Have to disagree, in my opininion only those have consciousness who will wake up their lifetime. Not many people I think, maybe a handul in this reality or maybe only one.

Everyone and everything else has no experience inside, they will not wake up in their lifetime, because they ARE enlightened by default, they never existed "inside" in the first place.

  • have you guys eever come to that moment where u thought u werent afraid to die, and u abused ur body so much, but nothing u can do will end the pain. so after 5 days and 4 bottles of whisky i sit here and i am taking ecstasy pills. where is the answer, where is the liberation, can you see it thru a cloud of drugs and alcohol? i m on the verge of death righ now. i can feel myself dying. goodbye my friends. cross ur fingers for me

  • @jeffbriggs1987 - hi jeff. If you are sincerely interested in finding a way to liberation its often best to find the company of others who will help and support you. Its rare that any of us can awaken on our own. And the odds of it happening by mixing whiskey and ecstasy even more rare. Try yoga, meditation, tai chi or something like that. Find a teacher and or support group and you should feel a lot better. Up to you of course, we are all free to rise or fall.

  • @jeffbriggs1987 I was just about to post a reply, telling you to look up THE WEDDING OF STAR AND SHADOW by Joseph Kerrick...It's a short story online that will help put a LOT of pieces together, and as unbelievable as the story sounds, it actually parallels the terrifying-yet-liberating experience that I went through not long before I came across it. But just before I started typing I noticed your name, and thought it was a joke for a second...My rhythm guitarist's name is Jef Briggs, lol

  • god i love the picture of the little girls smiling. theyre smiles are so natural. some people smile but it doesnt seem true

  • So when you wake up, how do you know? Should you quit your day job or what?

  • @SickOmega - LOL, no... imagine if all the garbage collectors and produce truckers in the world did that. Within a week, starvation and rats in the streets....

  • @SickOmega so all this knowledge doesnt change anything, we are dependent on this system, so we go back to sleep ultimately

  • what an amazing concept

  • Great speaker, communicator , storyteller,

    Good to hear him again.

  • He sums it up very well; 'Do you define yourself as a victim of the world or as the world?' But who's asking that question? And why should you define yourself at all?

  • Commenting on videos will grow your ego. :D

  • thanks for the upload! I was wondering if you could send me Alan Watts's voice without the music in the background? Please let me know :-) Thanks!

  • i tried to show this to a christian and she looked at me like i was satan. what do?

  • @jeffbriggs1987 - This is closer to Advaita Vedanta, so some Christians may be threatened by it, unless they're very open minded.

  • @chasefukuoka61 an open minded christian, now that's funny

  • @madeindadefyi LOL, yeah I had one tell me they were a free thinking Christian the other day, now that's a paradox.

  • @jeffbriggs1987 Just remember that when Christ preached his ideas, the Jews of that age though he was a satan-like menacing person. Neither the jews nor the christians are into God at all! They are entangled in their own safe ideological answers. And that's fine, just recognize it, be compassionate about it (it will be natural) and love them!

  • I used to be a critic of A. Watts. I believed others when they call him a deceiver & false prophet.

Then I decided to conclude myself who he really was. I have the ability to distinguish B.S from honesty. My decision would be final.

After listening and reading his books I have decided that the message he sends is coming not from someone who is trying to deceive but from someone who is relating honest intellectual ideas to others on a level they were not familiar with and could not think of.

  • Silence is truth !

  • Universal Self is neglecting itself in the world. I wish the Universal Self would help itself out in say war torn, plague and starvation ravaged Africa, birthplace of mere human beings.

  • what does he say at 6:11? "I am that I am" ? I wish so badly there were transcripts of his lectures T____T

  • @subpolarity "I am that I am" yeah, I think so. You can find that phrase over at Wikipedia. "the response God used in the Hebrew Bible when Moses asked for His name (Exodus 3:14). It is one of the most famous verses in the Torah."

  • @subpolarity I am that I am - "So Hum" -- It's an ancient Sanskrit mantra.

  • i am so awesome. dont i agree?

  • Alan Watts knows what Jesus knew. He knows that the death and ascension of Jesus is a metaphor for going inside yourself and finding yourself(heaven). When you find your true self, you, god, and everything are one. The only way to know everything is to "know" nothing because knowing breaks the world up into pieces so you can never experience the all.

  • I once felt belonging and peace, then was made to feel extremely distressed. I let go and now I feel the moment.

  • it is possible to live in honor if we start that way...

  • I think I'll title my first book "The veil across the sanctuary."

  • @BrucknerMotet Please let me know where I can get a copy of your book when it is finished.

  • "poor little me"

  • 3 people feel guilty for watching this video.

  • The last phrase was deep. thanks for sharing this really

  • "we're all the dude, man"

  • @Mdog2590 This statement would imply that there is no such thing as an unpleasant experience, which would conflict with the principle of the coincidence of opposites. Just because someone has a difference of opinions concerning aesthetics does not necessarily mean that their state of consciousness is an awful one. Believing that anyone who doesn't share your indiscriminately positive state of consciousness, is an invariably flawed being, -is not a good way to go through life.

  • ive been downloading alot of his work.....and i use them to fall asleep every night....within 3 month...ive went from a negative drug dealer attitude...to a positive functioning person tryin to make ammends for my mistakes......this man is as powerful as jesus if you let him.....thank you.......

  • @john81blaze ...That's great John...many Blessings as you awaken...

  • @jeanieofthemoon life is so much easier when you understand these simple principles........thx....

  • This music is awful.

  • This 1 is VERY POWERFULL !!!!!

oh its so 1337 that you have to think about it serioursly !!!

  • @ChuckNorrisKratosLOL oh dear. apparently not...whatever you said

er...whats the point in sending me comments if your gonna remove them before i can read them?

    X D

  • The Oneness vid is awesome also. And listen to some Rumi.

  • @ChuckNorrisKratosLOL ok...feeling better now?

  • this man has changed my perspective on things...if i got this right ...i put this in my path because i wanted answers....so this is me talkin to myself....

  • @john81blaze - or this is the larger Universal Us talking to individual localized versions, we are each like a cup of ocean, our true identity being the entire Ocean...

  • @chasefukuoka61 i think its something along those lines....more like our body is made of billions of cells with each one having a different function..they cannot see the result of their labor but their ultimate survival and my own depemd on each other ..one connot be without the other....so my consiousness is the result of the cumulative result of my cells consciousnes...thx for sharin the video...knoledge must be available for anybody ready to have it....

  • @john81blaze - YES... definitely. Good thoughts friend...

  • @chasefukuoka61 Am i applaud to re-upload only this video??

Its so beautifull - i Really hope so - See my channel - All credits go towards you

    Hope2HearFromYou- God bless

  • @john81blaze Nice one John...... I was off to see a Psychotherapist but now there is no requirement; very true also what you say at the end..... Thankyou

  • @john81blaze yes it is

  • @ChuckNorrisKratosLOL still trying to please me, despite your insults, how pathetic

    *sigh*

  • @ChuckNorrisKratosLOL this is what i mean about religiosity. you're accusing me in terms of 'understanding Alan Watts' when u should be accusing me in terms of understanding Truth.

truth should be the benchmark, not pleasing mr Watts.

yes those examples u gave are selfish, but so is having no empathy. And that's your problem.

    Among other things.

You're not a child, you're an adult. start acting like one.

even now, you're trying to impress me with your information.

    Stop.

    thats enough 4 today.

  • @natmanprime "Ha Ha, what a funny way God has come on today." -AW

  • @dudeyesyou1 OK...anyway

thanks 4 bringing me back to this page, i just seen this guy i was arguing with remove all his comments LOOOOL

    it's very funny

  • @ChuckNorrisKratosLOL no.emptying your shit onto a page doesn't show anything other than...your own shit

    example:

"That is all my ending comments(the teaching) came into lol."

    --incoherent.

repeated use of ( : icon, going from praise to angry insults in a short space

    --manic.

churning out 100 comments before anyone can respond, not possessing the basic empathy to see what the respondent has to go through on a PRACTICAL level, u call it a 'conversation'.

    --selfish.

    so:

    incoherent, manic, selfish.

  • @ChuckNorrisKratosLOL wow

ok a conversation is not making 100 comments in an hour before the other guy can even keep track and respond.

i had to give up after the 50th comment or some shit lol

this is what im talkin about

have some concept of the other guy

your displaying a classic religious personality

so there are some emotional problems here that you're not facing.

it's impossible to deal with u unless u deal with that

  • @ChuckNorrisKratosLOL ok you've sent like 100 comments now, wtf???!?

i think u feel empty, and need to fill it with some words.

i'm not going to bother going through all of your comments, ive noticed a few truths with alot of confused thoughts mixed in, you have not yet accepted the difference between something being a root of evil, and evil.

    despite my repeated efforts.

youve gone from prejudging me, to lecturing me, to praising me, implied insults...in one go

    1-RELAX.

    2-face ur problems.

  • @ChuckNorrisKratosLOL - Yeah, but the point of this video is that we are not who we "think" we are.. so thinking "I" have 5 million dollars, "I feel great" just feeds that mirage of a self independent from the Universe.

  • @ChuckNorrisKratosLOL - You are very welcome. And its of course your freedom to think and speak all you wish, just my experience has been if we feed the mindspin, the thinking (even positive thoughts) sooner or later they become negative (its natural, seasonal) so best to practice silence and mindfulness as much as we can (when feeling positive) cause later when the negative thoughts come (and they always do) you'll be more skilled at letting them go, returning into silence.

  • @ChuckNorrisKratosLOL - wheww... so many words, so far from silence! I liked when you said this, nothing more needs to be said- "There is an aliveness in pure being and direct experience of reality. Once you focus on thoughts, once thoughts fill the head, the world deadens, you go into your imagination. The best reality can be described with words is that reality "is." That one word."

  • @ChuckNorrisKratosLOL not 'perhaps', consciousness IS awareness. etymology sez so.

consciousness is time. if time stopped, consciousness would stop.

    these aren't MY definitions...

truth is what stops words doing what you claim their doing.

youre liostening to alan watts. hes saying words. it's an experience. And the truth prepares u to feel greater experiences as a foundation, and to have a truly free will.

  • @ChuckNorrisKratosLOL u use an awful lot of words for someone who holds them in such low regard

  • @ChuckNorrisKratosLOL reality cannot be abstraction. it is what is experienced between the abstractions of perception(duality) and truth (singularity).

the experience of 'the present moment" is what i meant by "1st ness", the passage of time, Presence, being.

possibilities cannot be real, they are not experienced yet.

u cannot mess around with the definitions as u please.

reality is not absolute by it's nature. Truth is absolute, reality is indefinite.

knowing truth sets u free, not restrict u
