You got your Death/Deathcore: Suicide Silence (though I prefer As Blood Runs Black) You got your viking (lol): Amon Amarth, You got your Melodic Death Metal: Children of Bodom/Arch Enemy, You got your nu-metal... mudvayne? Nu metal isn't a huge genre with enough popular bands. And many other genres I'd hate to list because of solely their own existence.
