That was hilarious....Yes fight sounds are dubbed in...There is a "sound artist" called a 'Foley' he/she creates sounds they think is appropriate ...fight sounds have changed over the decades, morphing into what is currently "popular". Actual fight 'sounds' are really not much...not dramatic enough. Virtually all that you hear in movies and TV minus dialogue is NOT the actual sounds of the events you see.

what is up with that double handed punch used at 00:36 , 01:30 , 01:50 , 02:45 , 03:19 , 03:25 , 06:03 , 06:09 , and some other scenes? I have seen it in star trek tos,tng,voy,and ds9, but I have never seen it anywhere outside of star trek.

I agree, while there's more martial arts refinement in the movements today, there are so many close ups & angle changes that the actors stop every 1-3 seconds & only do partial moves. with wide angle shots here that hold for 5-10 seconds, you see the real stamina effort in maintaining the full moves, which is more real & is really missed today. in some movies, there are so many camera angles, smoke, darkness during a fight, you have to struggle to see who's punching who.
