wasn't it like, Jr. had to finish 5th or better to make the Chase and he was 3rd then he blew an engine and his hopes were over? Or was he already out at that point?

something like that.... if i remember he was racing harvick for the spot but harvick had the spot cuz he was ahead of where he was suppose to finish...

harvick was barely in and if harvick was alittle lower jr wouldve gotten in. if he didnt have that 140 point penalty jr wouldve been in. along with his bad luck and engine failures

when will the racers learn, that if they team up and catch the leader BEFORE they fight for position, they'll have a better chance to win the race. Jeff definately would have won if it wasnt for worn tires, partly contributed by Dale Jr. (though it was Exiting for the revival of the Gordon vs. Earnhardt)

We just couldn't shake Junior there at the end and boy did that ever tighten up the car too much...but it was certainly a step in the right direction after it seemed like we have wreccked every week in the past 4 weeks. Jeff can easily make up a 20 point deficit.
