It was on PBS and might be rebroadcast in the future. It is also for sale at the waterfrontpix web site (listed at the end of the clip) for $21.95.

The sad truth is he could have made a difference. Sometimes personal failings impact so much more. An analogy for young people Big Jim as Obe wan and Wallace as Anakin Skywalker and Darth Vader.

His son, Jim Folsom jr. is the current Lt. Governor of Alabama. He was govenor for a short time during the 1990's after former Governor Guy Hunt resigned after a coruption investigation. "Little" Jim is usually credited for luring a Mercedes Benz assembly plant to the state. He was defeated in his bid for reelection by Fob James (right wing idiot) after Folsom had the guts to remove the confederate flag from the Capital dome.
