You can download MPlayer to watch movies in. Bec the media player ín the Nokia is not good. If you want to write with your msn friend download Gizmo. With gizmo you can add msn, google, etc.

hmm, my n800 plays incredible choppy that it is not worth using the video function... do i just resize it to fix that? and if so, what resolution?

yeah, I was gonna buy an Iphone but I don't want to spend $20 a month extra just to have it, and I don't want the ipod touch, I wouldn't want it w/out the phone. The N800 is looking pretty good for me now, its cheap, and everyone swears that its better than the iphone.

best way to get a movie on a nokia n800 or sony mylo is to buy a Rover tv you can record a show right off your tv with the rover tv and then put it on your computer then on you device thats what i do and the rover also records radio but the rover tvs are like $400 bucks but i love mine

How did you get the Hitchhiker video on the N800? Was it something pulled down via a torrent or did you back it up off a DVD? I'm looking for a good solution to watch a movie when I'm traveling on a plane or on vacation. Any ideas?

The N800 is not a phone, so if you have a lame phone you would be happy with an N95. If you have a strong phone - especially one that supports bluetooth dial-up networking, go with the tablet. It allows you to do a lot more.

It's a Linux device so does not include Windows Media Player. However, most formats should be supported except for some dedicated Windows Media codecs.
