yeah all is good until the oil gets into the fuel/air sensors and then it starts pinging big time..after that you better piss it off quick otherwise its gonna screw the engine real quick. You have to pull it all apart and clean the sensors hoping they havent been ruined for good. Big bucks if they have. Not worth the trouble. I was lucky but many others were not. Mine was an Audi S3 and my mechanic said he has many other types of cars that have the same problem and cost hundreds to fix..

just did a spectre advanced auto parts intake the other day just built it out of a long pipe couple bends a spectre maf adapter off ebay, VERY surprised at how loud the 2.2 is with an intake sounds GREAT! now if i could just get the god damn front end fixed for once and for all!

I like how the engine cover is colored, I had an auto 08 for awhile with the same SRI, but I just upgraded to an 08 SS/TC, you should do the same

I have an 07 chevy ls I was thinking of getting the same one. My car I feel like when I want it to take off faster, weather it be me catching a yellow light before it turns red or passing a slow person on the free way, I feel like speeding up takes forever. Would an intake like this solve a problem like that since it's a seven horse power increase ?

@ahhzombies182 first off, a SRI might give you like 5 or 10 HP if your lucky, so its not much of a difference, its only just to improve your MPG, To solve your problem, id sell your car and get a SS TC or SC :D or drop 5k on a turbo kit. I had an 08 LT for awhile and no mater what i changed with the engine it still was fast, but then I got my SS/TC and bone stock, it blows away my other car

@omglawllawl i have a 2.4 cobalt when i put my short ram in i can actually FEEL the difference. but different engine so maybe theres a difference between 2.2s and 2.4s

its very clear your standing farther back with the stock filter and then with the k&n you have the camera much closer to the intake and engine, that alone makes a complete difference in what a microphone will capture, so your video comparison is useless and dumb.

@Mountie1010 i didnt have a CEL for about a year, until recently. idk if its from the intake, which the delaership said it was....idk im not gonna worry about it though

nice i did the same thing to my cobalt ls, and ya i noticed the hp, iv also add a chip module and a power programer, these are pretty cheap and easy gain of hp, im making before vids for my cobalt ls as i transform it, so check out my vids and give me some ideas
