I credit the maker for good work, but I prefer the idea that it's a small group of X-Wings vs a small group of ties. Dispite being able to take them down easily Tarkin sends a small group, it really shows his arrogance.

This has the "Blast it, Wedge, where are you?" audio I remember from the version I recorded off the TV in the 80s. When I bought the movie on VHS later it had "Blast it, Biggs, where are you?" instead. There were several other audio changes I remember as well, such as "Close the blast doors!" being missing before the "Open the blast doors! Open the blast doors!"

the death star part was my most favorite scene in this edit. now there's like 100 more TIE's and X-Wings!! I love the part where the TIE fleet join the fight wit the empire march in the background, epic as hell

@PsychoCheese1337 Luca$ opened the door by re-editing the films every few years and then having the audacity to deny his true fans high-quality digitally restored anamorphic versions of the unaltered trilogy on DVD. He has a right to fiddle with his films forever. However he owes the fans that have made him rich the films they grew up with. Like they did with the Indy trilogy after Spielberg declined a SE...(sneaky Lucas still digitally altered one shot in Raiders though. The guy needs help)

I agree, the actors are classic! you cant just cut them out. Special effects should be done around the original movie and make it better but the actors should remain.

I wish I had Adywan's cut! It would be amazing! By the way, way better than the original. Lucas goes to all that trouble to revise the trilogy and put in dumb scenes like Greedo shot first and Hayden as Anakin but never revised it right. Star Wars still looks like it was done in 1977. But Adywan has fixed that!

ImperialFighter Whenever Lucas tampers with his starwars movies people freak out. However it's interesting that fans are making their own versions with their changes. Lucas started it and I think we will start seeing a lot more of this stuff. Knowing Lucas I predict for his 3D starwars he may amp up the Death Star battle.
