Lets see: I think if you sat and wrote out a structure, it would help you more. 1, i'd begin with having a nice 10 second or so intro. make it more like a show. I think interviews would be good too. Not just your opinion but people at the mall and random places. Skits are great. Talent. Broadcast different events happening. have "on location" recordings at various places. Your reviews could involve more of what the public thinks too. mainly get people more involved i think. look at a late show

The show is good the way it is. However, I would like for you to fix your background graphics. Sometimes the picture is cut off, or you are standing in the way and a clear shot of the picture can't be seen.
you have to DO real life situations FORREAL its not about being entertaining ... its reality! i mean they need to be aware of PROTECTION, BABIES, SCHOOL, STDs, RELATIONSHIP, IMPORTANCE OF FAMILY etc... so thats a good look sir.. and i will think of some stuff then come back and comment what i want to see more of .. Hey Kevin! I like the idea that you want to pilot the direction of your show but as a subscriber you are best to make that decision because what do you want to be? A talk show host/co-host? Like tell us more on what your dreams are. But as you said more skits, more collaborations with other youtubers, or celeb guests would be good. The entertainment recap is always good but I agree more real life topics. Do more cultural topics like child sex traffic that occurs in Asian countries
honestly i like you guys long videos, i feel they are the funnier and have more random moments. Also, even when you find another place please continue to do at least one show at your mom's house because something about your mother's home makes the show really funny with all the random people. But yeah also, maybe a lil less beyonce and lady gaga talk, im not saying cut them completely out but not talk about them so much. Also, maybe more skits, and think about an advice segment.
Guest appearences every now and then, maybe a big fan, someone really cool that can keep up with you two. Definitively take the show out to the street, make noise, be noticed.
Ye!!! Thank you Kevin for taking control. Im not gonna lie, I was about to unsubscribe to your channel because the content was getting too juvenille. I know it's a lot of young (under 21) people subscribed but give us 30yr. olds some talk too! Lately there's been too much of Makael flirting or making "tour" plans with guys. I love him...but I'd like to see more relationship advice, news comments, movie reviews, gossip, and open Blog TV for live advice time or comments on the show.
I LOOOVE the long videos, but I think more people would watch if they were shorter. Also, you should review more male artists like A.j. McLean (who is coming out with a solo cd in 2010), Jesse McCartney, Mitchell Musso, Jonas Brothers, The Fray, Backstreet Boys (they are my favorite) etc.

I saw somebody else comment about having a round table with Makael and two other people and talking about topics and i think that's a great idea. Your two other guests could be your mother and another friend. You could have the round table show once a week or something.
For the roundtable suggestion, I think that Amber ... I think that is her name (the girl that is always commenting in the background) would be really good for the roundtable. And also Richie (Kevin's nephew) would be really good for the roundtable as well, he always makes me laugh and has an *interesting* 2cents to add ...
YES! each episode you should have people post questions on the comments, and pick your favorite 3, and have mama skorpion answer them, or just make an ask mama spinoff within a series
I love the real life issues so more of that! I would like more parodies and a few more Makael solo video because I love it when you have your solos Skorp but I think Makael needs more. I loved that Chinese video!
I love your videos, but if you want bigger success you need to keep your videos under five minutes. All the big YouTubers do this. It's just the YouTube format.

The first thing I would like to for you to do in 2010 is get a new battery for your smoke detector. I don't know how yiu can live with that noise. Everytime I watch your video's when you do them from where you were on this video, I hear the chirp and sometimes I think it's my alarm that needs a battery, LOL.
Im sorry u lost your apartment. But that was a good look in evolving your videos, People love to laff at your family but its been done already. I love jeremy and richard with thier smart ass mouths...lol, but to evolve u do have to have more professional lookin videos. U can still gossip but i think u should edit your vids professionally and that may mean less cursing sometimes also unless warranted.
Also some of your viewers could use an ASK MAMA SKORP cuz she is old school and she drops knowledge that these kids need today. Shorter videos 15mins top. Relationships, news, real-life situations not so much stuck on fame life. we care but then we do. Retouch some topics especially when new facts r brought about. Bring facts to the table not just opinions. Skits would be good. like actions and not just talk talk talk. Ask your audience what they wanna know/hear once in awhile.
OK. So you said you wanted feedback, both positive and negative, so here's what I would like to see in 2010: No more filming at your mother's house or any other place where there are multiple conversations taking place and/or people around; Less Makael. He has his moments where he's cool, but EVERYTHING is about Beyonce! It's annoying and makes him one dimensional. Also, most of his views & comments seem immature and not fully thought out.
I like him at times, but additional hosts would provide the show with some diversity. Would love to hear you discuss gay black life. Dating, romance, hot topics in the gay black community etc...evolve the blog to have more mature topics. That's how you can increase your audience base. Love the show. Keep rockin'!
Street interviews like a question of the day? videos when you all go out on outtings, ask makael ask skorpion, ask mama skorpion, current events, hot topics, entertainment news etc.
I think you guys should do a ASK? MAekeal or Skorpion about Real life situations such as Relationships and other. Also make video a little shorter 10-15mins.
At least do the ASK twice a week and less entertainment or more news. I still like the entertainment especially the gossip but maybe more news.
I would like to see more of you and Makael debates for sure, not just beyonce but real life topics as u discussed in the video, and at least one skit a week, the kelly n beyonce skit for thanksgiving, was classic more of that.

Yes, colabs with other youtubers! Real life discussions and Q&A. A lot less beyonce talk ( not so much your fault skorpion). I know you like various artist. Maybe have more than 1 co- host with different opinions. I really hate to anticipate what someone is going to say, because they are so damn predictable. I like your channel so I know you will bring us something good.
But I do agree that you should have 2 or 3 co-hosts... I know that you have great chemistry with Makael, but he's probably not the only one! He rarely there and when he is there, he seems bored...
I'm not really interested in the real life issues' topic, because I'm watching the skorpionshow to have fun, to laugh, to be entertained, to see your opinion in music, movies, etc... But if you feel that's what you want, then do it!

im sure im not the only one to say this but IM SICK OF HEARING ABOUT BEYONCE, KELLY AND MICHELLE!!!!! i'd like to see more DISCUSSION and less ARGUING/SCREAMING. the show is THE SKORPION SHOW, i think you should have different hosts and not only rely on Makael cuz when he goes through the "im out of the show" phase it penalizes YOU. and if possible, to edit out the parts where ur talking to the rest of the household or answering the phone, cuz it's not a really good look and we lose our focus.

I believe that there should be interviews of real life issues in addition to political issues! It was real with the family Monopoly game because it showed how you interact with your family and that shows how real you are, and people appreciate that. There are so many issues in Philadelphia and other cities that are NOT bought forth because the Newspapers have political ties! Things get done when people are put on blast! E.g. NJ Female State Trooper Sexual Harassment! That's how Mayor's are made!

Great comment maliklik95. I agree with everything you said except the "more professional look" part. I think the down home or grass roots approach they use adds to the charm of the show. Making it "more professional" might take that away. Just my opinion.

talk about more relevant issues besides entertainment.. have more guests on ur show besides makael...i love him but it would be cool to have more of ur family and friends in the vids. maybe do collaborations with other youtubers like candy and skittles more often. review and give recommendations on stuff ur reading, watching, listening to, doing, etc. u could give reviews of more products, not just albums.
I'd like to see more consistency. There were MANY times this year where we heard you say "I can't talk about this yet / I have to wait on Makael". Maybe think about getting a stand-in for him, like your friend Tiffany or sister Kenya.
Also, you could think about going a more serious route every now and then with the videos. Less Beyonce, more culturally relevent topics and more structured videos to kind of test it out with a "legit and structured" feel- if TV is the route you want to go.

Like the old sayig goes "One monkey don't stop no show". Makael has missed out on a lot of stuff and it costed Skorpion a lot of opportunities (like media exposure/couple interviews).
Not saying Makael should be permanently replaced, but the show must go on when he's not there. Skorpion shouldn't have to feel obligated to stop the world from spinning just because Makael isn't around.
more reviews (albums, concerts, shows, etc.), no beyonce PLEASE, books you're currently reading, movies, new technology (cellphones, laptops, cameras), causes to get involved in, events, relationship & friendship advice...come on work with me now. i'd like to just see you and makael and not hear anybody else, that's a little extra for me. Another idea could be is to travel to a spot in Philly and share the place of interest for a visitor to check out and talk on the topic of discussion there ie "We're here at the best place to get a Philly cheese steak and today we're going to talk about...and proceed from there....
well skorp, you've come a long way and you've made some changes that i like. you and makael still will do videos unprepared. not saying it needs a script but, a list of things to talk about like you do in your solo vids. other than that, schedule times when you'll be on youtube and blogtv. lately, you've been pretty good about doing a vid almost everyday, even though this week you took some breaks. you can do teasers which will raise interest in forthcoming vids.

Don't listen to the people that tell you to shorten your videos. I like the long videos with you in Makael. More album reviews. I was kind of disappointed that you did not do a review of the Fame Monster. Overall I love the show. I love when you and Makael debate. Real life situations are good too. It make me want to comment and give my imput. Maybe ask your viewers what you want them to talk about. I love the show and can't wait to see what you guys bring to 2010.

Hey Kevin! I like the idea that you want to pilot the direction of your show but as a subscriber you are best to make that decision because what do you want to be? A talk show host/co-host? Like tell us more on what your dreams are. But as you said more skits, more collaborations with other youtubers, or celeb guests would be good. The entertainment recap is always good but I agree more real life topics. Do more cultural topics like child sex traffic that occurs in Asian countries

honestly i like you guys long videos, i feel they are the funnier and have more random moments. Also, even when you find another place please continue to do at least one show at your mom's house because something about your mother's home makes the show really funny with all the random people. But yeah also, maybe a lil less beyonce and lady gaga talk, im not saying cut them completely out but not talk about them so much. Also, maybe more skits, and think about an advice segment.

Ye!!! Thank you Kevin for taking control. Im not gonna lie, I was about to unsubscribe to your channel because the content was getting too juvenille. I know it's a lot of young (under 21) people subscribed but give us 30yr. olds some talk too! Lately there's been too much of Makael flirting or making "tour" plans with guys. I love him...but I'd like to see more relationship advice, news comments, movie reviews, gossip, and open Blog TV for live advice time or comments on the show.

I LOOOVE the long videos, but I think more people would watch if they were shorter. Also, you should review more male artists like A.j. McLean (who is coming out with a solo cd in 2010), Jesse McCartney, Mitchell Musso, Jonas Brothers, The Fray, Backstreet Boys (they are my favorite) etc.

As for 2010- keep goin in the same direction that you've been going in. You went from solely talking about music and artists, to all celebs, to love, sex, celeb issues- everything. Honestly, i love how the show the way it is. I always know you will talk about all the hot music topics and i think that's what your best at. I also LOVE all your videos with Makael, he's a riot.
I saw somebody else comment about having a round table with Makael and two other people and talking about topics and i think that's a great idea. Your two other guests could be your mother and another friend. You could have the round table show once a week or something.

I love your videos, but if you want bigger success you need to keep your videos under five minutes. All the big YouTubers do this. It's just the YouTube format.

@henriklopezsmyth - i agree 100%. a great example is the phil defranco show which is always 3-4 mins. never longer than that. currently he's landing between 1 to 3 million views per vid.
overall, everything that you all talk about is great for the skorpion show but would love for you all to talk a little bit more on other topics such as sports. even w/ that there r so many more subscribers you can be getting. but keep up all the great work. you and makael both r awesome.

The first thing I would like to for you to do in 2010 is get a new battery for your smoke detector. I don't know how yiu can live with that noise. Everytime I watch your video's when you do them from where you were on this video, I hear the chirp and sometimes I think it's my alarm that needs a battery, LOL.

Im sorry u lost your apartment. But that was a good look in evolving your videos, People love to laff at your family but its been done already. I love jeremy and richard with thier smart ass mouths...lol, but to evolve u do have to have more professional lookin videos. U can still gossip but i think u should edit your vids professionally and that may mean less cursing sometimes also unless warranted.

Shorter videos 15mins top. Relationships, news, real-life situations not so much stuck on fame life. we care but then we do. Retouch some topics especially when new facts r brought about. Bring facts to the table not just opinions. Skits would be good. like actions and not just talk talk talk. Ask your audience what they wanna know/hear once in awhile.

So you said you wanted feedback, both positive and negative, so here's what I would like to see in 2010: No more filming at your mother's house or any other place where there are multiple conversations taking place and/or people around; Less Makael. He has his moments where he's cool, but EVERYTHING is about Beyonce! It's annoying and makes him one dimensional. Also, most of his views & comments seem immature and not fully thought out.

I think you guys should do a ASK? MAekeal or Skorpion about Real life situations such as Relationships and other. Also make video a little shorter 10-15mins.
At least do the ASK twice a week and less entertainment or more news. I still like the entertainment especially the gossip but maybe more news.

Maybe have more than 1 co- host with different opinions. I really hate to anticipate what someone is going to say, because they are so damn predictable. im sure im not the only one to say this but IM SICK OF HEARING ABOUT BEYONCE, KELLY AND MICHELLE!!!!! i'd like to see more DISCUSSION and less ARGUING/SCREAMING. the show is THE SKORPION SHOW, i think you should have different hosts and not only rely on Makael cuz when he goes through the "im out of the show" phase it penalizes YOU. and if possible, to edit out the parts where ur talking to the rest of the household or answering the phone, cuz it's not a really good look and we lose our focus.

I believe that there should be interviews of real life issues in addition to political issues! It was real with the family Monopoly game because it showed how you interact with your family and that shows how real you are, and people appreciate that. There are so many issues in Philadelphia and other cities that are NOT bought forth because the Newspapers have political ties! Things get done when people are put on blast! E.g. NJ Female State Trooper Sexual Harassment! That's how Mayor's are made!

I'd like to see more consistency. There were MANY times this year where we heard you say "I can't talk about this yet / I have to wait on Makael". Maybe think about getting a stand-in for him, like your friend Tiffany or sister Kenya.
Also, you could think about going a more serious route every now and then with the videos. Less Beyonce, more culturally relevent topics and more structured videos to kind of test it out with a "legit and structured" feel- if TV is the route you want to go.

Like the old sayig goes "One monkey don't stop no show". Makael has missed out on a lot of stuff and it costed Skorpion a lot of opportunities (like media exposure/couple interviews).
Not saying Makael should be permanently replaced, but the show must go on when he's not there. Skorpion shouldn't have to feel obligated to stop the world from spinning just because Makael isn't around.

I'd like to see more with you guys talking about political amd social issues. Kevin you already do those types of videos but id love to see both you and Makael debate on a political issue sometimes. The video where Makael went in on Obama was hillarious! You can also do videos where we write in with questions and you guys answer. Love with you gentlemen are already doing. Keep up the great work! And I LOVE the long videos.

i would love 2 see tha show get back 2 what it used 2 be...i'd like 2 see more long vidz of both u and makael...and it would be cool if once a week or once of month have mama skopion answer questions "ask mama skorpion". she has alot a wisdom in her and we'd like sum of it! i'd like 2 see u and makael discuss more serious topics, an more collabs w/ other youtubers....... keep it up and i'm lookin forward 2 great things in 2010 from the skorpion show!!!

Another idea could be is to travel to a spot in Philly and share the place of interest for a visitor to check out and talk on the topic of discussion there ie "We're here at the best place to get a Philly cheese steak and today we're going to talk about...and proceed from there....

well skorp, you've come a long way and you've made some changes that i like. you and makael still will do videos unprepared. not saying it needs a script but, a list of things to talk about like you do in your solo vids. other than that, schedule times when you'll be on youtube and blogtv. lately, you've been pretty good about doing a vid almost everyday, even though this week you took some breaks. you can do teasers which will raise interest in forthcoming vids.

More Involement with the Viewers, like more real life stories, like what you said, and funny skits. I would like to see less....ummm well idk what less i want to see, its a wonderful show that probably changes lifes,this show help me see things in a different light, and im sure it will be better in the future. Yes i am a young viewer, and i think some of the real life situation topics that you talk about may help my peers, and me, look at these situations in a serious way. Thank you

I completly agree with truth3712. But also when you guys travel around for concerts or anything of that matter show off the city your in a little bit. like truth3712 said interview the people and ask what the hot spots of the city are and things like that.

Don't listen to the people that tell you to shorten your videos. I like the long videos with you in Makael. More album reviews. I was kind of disappointed that you did not do a review of the Fame Monster. Overall I love the show. I love when you and Makael debate. Real life situations are good too. It make me want to comment and give my imput. Maybe ask your viewers what you want them to talk about. I love the show and can't wait to see what you guys bring to 2010.
