I beat this game for like ten times, and still planning to play and beat it again sometimes in the future. Don't ever trying to compare Xenogears story with every other video games out there. It outclassed them all. Evangelion + Gundam UC + Religion = Xenogears.

I will never forget how this game changed my view of video games. So far, not ever today do games live up to the standards Xenogears has set. Not FF7, not Mass Effect, not even Skyrim.

@BKElam77 i know what you mean man. my favorite RPG was mass effect, but now that i played xenogears, its my #1 favorite video game in my life. and the sad part is.. with todays market... we may never see a game like Xenogears

@aerik9 Never played that one I'm afraid. The RPGs that changed my scope on things have to be Xenogears, Valkyrie Profile, and Final Fantasy 6 and Tactics. I can play those any day and still get the same joy.

@BKElam77 well, Deus Ex is a major candidate for best game ever. You can get it on Steam for about 10 bucks, I think. I'd say it's definitely better than Xenogears, though it is a much different game (both have to do with nanomachines, though) ;)

Love the Xenogears soundtracks. Still go to my game and load up disc 2 save files on PS2, head to the "Battle Gear Arena" play that juxebox next Billy. He's a awesome dude.

(Good thing he left that juxebox disc back in disc 1 of Xenogears for ya to have if you paid him... and repaired the box later in disc 2. Other wise... I can't play all the music.)

@Ultimateunit34 What was the awesome thing was that you could battle with the gears WHILE listening to the songs.

Needless to say, I played Chuchu's Theme and used *SPOILERS*Xenogears*SPOILEREND­S* and beat the crap out of the opponent using laserbeams without even moving an inch.

Indeed that was the easiest way to do battles. It really made me mad that i couldn't fight normally though, since Xenogears was so slow in the battle arena...zzz. I just tell myself the arena organizers handicapped Xenogears for fairness.
