@SeantheRock Eh son, you should try other animes, Like Gantz at least try watching that before i point you to other anime that are worth watching. You'll regret watching inuyasha if you watch anime worth watching. Maybe even Higurashi no koro ni. The first DBZ was good.

I showed this anime to my friend about three days ago, and lemme tell you something, he hates anime, and I mean really really hates them, but when he saw this he was like "Holy FU*K! This is the coolest thing I've ever seen in my life! But it's so random too. But who cares, I love it!" and since then, he's given anime a try XD

I just found this anime on Itunes after seeing it on Adult Swim years ago. It's stuck in my mind ever since, and I'm not even an anime fan. So glad I got to download the episodes and I'm watching them right now. As soon as I heard this song on the show I knew I had to find it. This song, and the whole show, are just brilliant. @AirikuRei If I believe correctly it is about growing up. Many people get confused because it seems so random and fast but that is the idea the director was going for.

@SpeakSoftly117 It's deliberately made to be so confusing and random-seeming BECAUSE it's about growing up. Naota is coming into adolescence and all manner of crazy things happen to him. For the viewer, it lets us see how confusing growing up is for him because it's so abstract. Any normal coming-of-age tale is at least somewhat familiar to most people

@AirikuRei Well yeah but, I don't know about others, but I mainly watch anime to get away from the real word and my real problems. So that being said, I prefer long anime, but also , some like Naruto just start making complete bullshit plot arks. So for me about the length of Kenshin(aka samurai X) is perfect.

@Brz111 :) True, true. I find myself rewatching all my old favorites when I feel I need a break from reality. This is just an opinion but I think anywhere from 12 to 36 is the perfect number for me. That way I don't have to do a lot of catching up and I don't get too bored.

And Naruto was actually good at first but they've dragged it on too long and made all the characters godmods. Ugh, I stopped watching after the fourth or fifth season.
