Hi Troy i think it came down to the fact that the Slr wasnt as successful as McMerc wanted it to be people thought that it lacked feel, and some enthusiasts saw it as more of a poseurs car.

I think this is a shame because its one of the best looking cars ive seen for many years that mercedes has had a hand in.

I agree with you, i would rather the Slr still be in production. I know this car has been designed to look like a more modern version of the 300 gullwing, but i just dont like the lights at the front it they where round i think it would look better.

To me the lights look a bit like the lights on the Nissan Gtr.
