  • The Beach Boys were suppose to play at a club in Phoenix back in the 70's. The show didn't work out so they headed to Mr. Lucky's. The owners of Mr. Lucky's said hell yeah. They set up to play and the sound tech noticed that Brian Wilson couldn't be heard. He went to fix it and was told not to. He was told to listen. Brian was playing a different song. Now that's what I call a tight group. They took care of each other. GREATEST BAND EVER!!!

  • the angels wish they could sing this well. LISTEN TO AL'S VOICE! HE HASNT LOST A NOTE!

  • the angels wish they could sing this well

  • When was this concert at the Keswick? I just saw a concert there recently. Does

al Jardine usually team up with Brian?

  • WOW WOW WOW! THEY SOUNDED UNBELIEVABLE! AL'S VOICE HASN'T CHANGED A BIT! brian was havin a blast.

  • Awesome! Great version with Al

  • I love seeing BW & the band @ this theater <3

  • go, Al !

sounds good - I should've caught this tour... closest thing to a Beach Boys show since Carl died.

    thanks for posting

  • Poor video and sound, what's the point?

  • @Dairybeat Whats the point of you putting this comment? lol :)

  • @mdefil23 That a great band like The Beach Boys, deserve a better film and sound recording that this. Watch The Fendertones and you know what I mean...!

  • @Dairybeat funny you say that, my dad, my brother and my uncle are all in the fendertones band. my dad is the bass player, my brother is the lead guitar player in the 'pet sounds' video and my uncle is the other guitarist with the mustache.

  • @Beaglesock It's a 'small' world... Well you can tell them that I think they are stunningly good! Do they sell a DvD?

  • @Dairybeat No, they never made a DVD, it was for everyone's enjoyment at the time, they never planned on making profit from it or even touring. It was just a fun project that they did for a couple years.

Also, the point of this video being posted was so other people could enjoy some of Brian Wilson and Al Jardine together. The video isn't the best, but the sound isn't too bad and it is still much better then many videos where the cameraman shakes the entire time.

  • Brian was loving it! Al sounded great, Brian was on top of it all, and the Wondermints were (as usual) their best! Would be nice to have the remaining ones there. Now that would be a real Gala!! I'd fly anywhere to see that!! :-D

  • This has it all - Brian, his top notch band, an Ellie Greenwich hit, and Al Jardine singing lead. Love it.

  • Unbelievable... just unbelievable.

  • I love watching these videos from Keswick. Brian seems so much different with another Beach Boy there! Dont Brian's fans realize this?...

  • He's does seem to have an extra spark when Als there you're right.

  • One of my absolute favourite songs!

But Rawley Taylor on Youtube has added something extra to this great hit. See and listen to a suprising and amazing interpretation!

  • Wow! Al's voice sounds VERY close to that original 1965 recording

  • Brian's got to have the best touring band I ever heard. They are amazing!!

  • what a beautiful song...and that by these artists!!!!

  • Brian seems much happier when he is around Beach Boys. Imagine if Mike, David and Bruce were there too!

  • ML would find a way to sour it.

  • How great is that? It really brings that Beach Boys sound back, at least to my ears. I wish Al could be a permanent member of Brian's band I think it's an important addition to the sound-great!!!!!

    Tony Rivers

  • Brian seems to get a charge outa having Al there.

  • I know!! This makes me cry when I see AL & Brian together!! TWO GREAT MUSICAN"S!!

  • Great !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Al has such a great voice...definitely the best of the remaining Beach Boys. It's cool how Al has become somewhat of a hero among Brian fans. Most Brian fans know all the crap that went down when Al was forced out of the Beach Boys touring band, and are happy to rally behind him, just like they rallied behind Brian when he first began touring.

  • These guys sound sooo good. Al's voice has barely faultered after all these years! Brian knew how to cover a song... Thanks for the music Bri.

  • I WAS THERE!!! :) myspace . com / jordanandrewsmusic

  • I was at this concert, and had a picture taken with Taylor. It was an awesome night. It was great seeing the lineup of Jeffrey Foskett, Brian Wilson, and Al Jardine on stage together.

  • WOULDN'T IT BE NICE if all remaining Beach Boys can come together and have some FUN, FUN, FUN to help KEEP THE SUMMER ALIVE? After all, GOD ONLY KNOWS that GOOD VIBRATIONS will last FOREVER! Love and mercy.

  • It would certainly be nice to have Brian, Mike, Al, Bruce, and David to come together with a backing band culled from the best talents of their bands (but mostly Brian's, he has the best) for one last concert together while they're still alive.

    Sadly, it probably won't happen.

  • lol nice
