My bunny started to sleep like that only this year (we have had him for 5 years) and it freaked me out at first. Now I can appreciate the cuteness of the act when he does that. Only problem is I've never managed to record or photograph him during these adorable nappies. Your bunny is really nice and it shows how much the bunny trusts the environment and the owners when she "lets her hair down" like that.

our bunny did that one day (which he never does) and I thought he was dead, I called his name and lightly tapped him and he still didn't wake up. I clapped my hands and he woke up but it sure scared the living daylights out of me for a few minutes. Now I know that it is normal if he does that. Bunnies are so awesome if you take the time to love them and "train" them....I love our bunny, he's better behaved than our 4 cats...LOL

some advice: i have 2 rabbits, used to have 3. and i am not quite sure wat an easy rabbit is lol. they all are a bit stinky, and of course rabbits are great and u can easily find a healthy and kind one. but im just sayin all rabbits big or small are a lot of work. but theyre loyal and beautiful in every way. so dont expect an easy rabbit because theyre not easy haha. juat some advice.

Eh, I might stick to cats and dogs then. Rabbits are lovely and adorable, but I don't want to constantly frighten one by holding it all the time. My cat's basically a stuffed animal that moves after you let her go.

It depends on the individual rabbit and the breed. Some are fine with being held (my german angoras are totally docile), my dwarf angora (jersey wooly) hates it, and will nip. They can be easy or hard to upkeep. They are better housekeepers w/ a littler box if neutered/spayed. Vet bills can be high, mine surely are the same as a dog/cat bill.
