Watching this show EVERY DAY AFTER SCHOOL is what gave me a foundation to answer 80% of ALL of my science test questions/homework assignments from 7th grade all the way through 12th grade... I MEAN it... and because they ran the episodes over and over throughout the years, there was constant memory re-enforcement...
WOW!!!! i used to watch this every day!! i wonder if this episode had anything with me becoming an architect? ...subliminal messaging anyone... lol lol
I should start my presentations in my architecture classes with that music; "its ar-chee-tecture (t,tn,tn)", hahaha. kidding, I would look like a retard.
I'm no ar-chitek! but a wide flange is a type of i-beam. Referring to it as just a wide flange (W-type) leaves out other types of i-beams (such as Standard and Junior.) btw where are these kids' parents?!
Me too! Funny that happens as a kid, I don't think I ever believed once I was old enough to question things, about 6...not intellectually a giant but old enough to wonder about stupid stuff like, "Why can't my cat talk to me?", which of course leads down the road to evolution. Love science shows for kids!
is there a conspiracy to dumb down the youth or what, because I have literally witnessed educational t.v. dissapear. Anyways, do they have any of those Mathnet Dragnet parodys? That was the only time I was genuinely interested in math.
Just remember 911 in your own quiet way, and watch old videos/movies for the content. If you keep ignoring content for your feelings, then "they" succeeded.
Kids now days have too short of a attention span now days. I really miss this show. Kids now days have not interest in science. I learned a lot of science from wathing this show. I always had an "A" in science in school.
Were british people still wearing "banker's" derby's in the eighties?
