You either don't know dogs, or you've been around some abnormal dogs. My husband tells me the true story about how his German short haired pointer knocked a whole pot of chili cooking on the stove, and proceeded to eat the entire thing. That's just typical dog behavior.
I'm amazed that people think this was staged. We were eating breakfast (steak & eggs) on mother's day a decade ago, and then we heard the commotion of Fortune in the kitchen jumping for the scraps on the counter. And abuse? Absolutely silly accusation. These Pugs are well cared for. Just Google "The Clarcelest Pugs" on Flickr to see what a horrible life these dogs live. ;-)
