What's a common thread between serial killers, rapists, pathological liars, abusers, etc?

I would say that the common thread might be that these people's actions are a result of a constant feeding of the knowledge of good and evil. People who were abused as children commonly feel that either they are evil, or that the whole world is.

If rather than juggling good and evil we juggled the facts, we would sin much less

how do you suppose you are to be judged at your "end". if you did not possess the knowledge of what good and evil was? wouldn't that make you all innocent, instead of "sinner's"? no wonder you are all confused , read such a contradiction!
