Thank you. I saw that with some cameras you can actually edit the video right on the camera under a "trim" setting. Have you seen this on this camera? Might be a handy feature. I do not have a Mac. I just bought this camera for $149.00 Canadian + tax since it is now the old model. Seems like a good price but I want to make sure it is suitable for us.
If you could answer this ASAP, i want to get this camera and I wanna know, like with manual focus, do you turn it on the lens, or is it somewhere else? I can't find any videos that say about focusing
Can you tell me what I need to have to view the videos from my camera on my computer. I'm running windows XP and have over a Gig of Ram like the book mentions. Every time I try playing the video it crashes my computer.
I'm really curious about how you experience the batterylife of this camera.. I heard that its really bad; full batteries can go empty in just half an hour! Have you experienced that too?
@xNikoLovesJW Unfortunately, that is biggest problem about PowerShot SX130 IS. If you using only for still shot, it isn't too bad but shooting movies, it need a lot of power. Only solution that I can suggest is that using high capacity (around 2500mAh) rechargeable batteries and carrying a lot of spare.
It's true. Unfortunatery most editing software for Windows are designed for AVC-HD. Adobe premire may work with mov but it is expensive too. If you buy Mac you don't have to buy FCP because iMovie which has been installed, will work well with mov.
I used Final Cut Pro 7 for editing. However, 90% of shot was only cut editing and fade in, out and title was only effect I used. I think most of editing soft can do those.
Thank you! I think it's really hard to find a good software, that works well with the .mov-clips, but i don't have a Mac and this program is a bit expensive . ;-)
Anyway, I'll subscribe to your channel. Love these miniature clips :-D
I use Sony Vegas Pro software .

Can you do any editing right on the camera?
mommalyze 4 months ago
@mommalyze No, you have to download to computer and edit. If you are Mac user, you can edit by iMovie.
