My tabs are right for showing what I played, but yes what I play is a bit different from the original version, but that is intentional.

I wanted to play a constant bass note since there's no bass player, so that's the main difference.

Nobody sounds like Hetfield, so I don't think it's fair at all to judge his singing based on that. A very different style with some changes made vocally (Particularly with the high notes), but those are by no means detractors from quality in his performance of this song. A great job also done in translating the song over to acoustic. Not really my style, but I appreciate the effort and obvious work you put into it.
