The correct translation is found in Luke 17 vs 37. Matt. 24 vs 28 should read, " For wheresoever the Body is there will the eagles be gathered together. @zxzrp0 We were given a job to do and our job is completed when the gospel , the good news about Yeshua (Jesus Christ) has been taught to every people from every nation. This has been accomplished. It is referred to as the end of the time of Gentiles. We will be raptured. This begins the Great Tribulation which has everything to do with Israel and the antichrist and his followers. Praise God for He will defend and defeat all who oppose His Chosen People.....Israel.

There is people being born every day, some born 15 years ago who can barely make up theyr mind about God let alone grasp the Gospels. Aside from that, how do we really know Everyone knows about the Gospel? Why mention Israel? Dont you mean ISREALITES! There is no need to sugar coat the modern people of Israel. @irishsetterarchie I'm not questioning God. I am questioning a Humans interpretation of something written long ago. If there is a Rapture, fine. There is still alot of people left here who need help so I think I know where I fit in. I appologise if I made fun of someone but I dont find it admirable to tuck tail and run just when the fight starts. I agree that we disagree.

I am simply saying that no matter what people may say what does matter is what God says and what God intends to do or not do!! You spoke of a fight....the war is between God and Satan....always has been. ISRAEL will be backing the winner big time....they will know who their Messiah is not and they will pick up where the gentiles leave off.can you imagine thousands of Israelites preaching the gospel!

If the rapture even happens, there will still be time for people to repent and be saved, now, if all Christians or followers of Christ are gone, who will help them? Not a fight? You mean you dont fight off temptation daily? Are you so pious, have you supressed all human emotion and thought? I think not. @richardperry2 Isnt a sixth seal rapture more likely Rev 6:12-17 the next chapter is Rev 7:14 These are they who have come out of the great tribulation;
How much clearer can that be?
If the Rev 10:7 mystery is the rapture then it will probable come after the two witnesses when the Lord says come up!
If the Rapture is after the two witnesses are murdered then were 1260days
probable a good thing for non believers but it would mean believers would have to go through part of Gods wrath. Gen18

@richardperry2 rev 10:7 ..the mystery of God will be accomplished.... Since it is a mystery how can it be the rapture? Most Christians are looking forward to some form of rapture so how is that a mystery. While rev 10:7 certainly could be the rapture the Sixth Seal Rev 6:12-17 aligns with Jesus account in Matthew 24:29-30 of his return and Ezekiels account of Jesus return at the beginning of the final seven years Ezekiel 38:19-20, 39:9.

I think BEFORE the tribulation for three main reasons 1:As the days of Noah were so also will be the coming of the son of man be.... meaning life continued as normal right up until the flood this goes against post-trib theory as life during the tribulation will NOT be normal it will be hell on earth! 2: Jesus told us topray that we may ESCAPE tribulation.. meaning the rapture.3:Revelation 3;10,11 states clearly 'I will KEEP you from the hour of trial that will come upon the WHOLE world. The translation of the words body and eagles are of tremendous importance and will be found in both the KJV and the Revised Standard Version. Jesus not only answered the question where but He also told the disciples who the people were going to be that are taken. The word body is a direct reference to the Church (the Body of Christ). Where are they being taken? Read Exodus 19 vs. 4. I will quote it.

If this event which is to come is referring to the Body being called up at the seventh trump when Christ BEGINS to rule....it wouldn't be a MYSTERY. It wouldn't occur like a thief coming in the night, it wouldn't catch true believers unaware and we wouldn't be WATCHING with our lamps filled with oil. We would have just gone through the GREAT TRIBULATION.

@snoopyredhat In Luke 17 vs 34-37 Jesus is answering a very sincere question and He is not being evasive or sarcastic. He is answering perfectly but in a way that those who are living during that actual time and sincerely want to know can find the answer. Scripture either means exactly what is says or must be read in context or the meaning is found somewhere else in the Word....this is the mystery! The Bible is for study and every word and it's meaning can be understood.

Also, in Rev. 3 vs. 7-11 This letter is written to the sixth church in Philadelphia, a literal church as well as indicative of the attitude of the Body of Christ up to the moment of Great Tribulation. Like Noah, in a godless world, unable to deny God's Name and warning the world around us of Gods' coming judgement and teaching the need for repentance. What does Jesus say He is going to do?

@irishsetterarchie Jesus says that He is the one with the key of David to close a door that no man can open and.....OPEN a door that no man can shut. (With Noah it was close a door...the ark) (with the Body of Christ it is open a door...(the door to the clouds where He will receive us). This is the rapture. We should understand this already as we were told in Luke 17 vs 34-37. Until this happens we should be sharing the gospel and calling for repentance!

Matt 24: 29-31 is indeed the second coming, however Matt 26-28 show the Rapture.

@ETWFJ AMen and in the King James translation they got it wrong this time!! Verse 28 says, "For wheresoever the carcass is there will the eagles be gathered together." The correct translation is found in Luke 17 vs 37. Matt. 24 vs 28 should read, " For wheresoever the Body is there will the eagles be gathered together. The meaning of the word eagles can be found in Exodus 19 vs. 4. Praise God!!!
