this was a great anime i hated how they both died at the end though that was sad.yes im aware it doesnt show elen die but the director said that once she saw reiji die that those flowers were poisoinous and you will notice one of the petals is missing stating that she ate one to join reiji.I loved this anime with all my heart ReijixElen Forever

@Facade31909 this is not meant to ,ake yo angy i just want to say something about the ending yeah it is that reiji was shot by a bullet but i says this: As a carriage passes by, a shot is fired; Reiji collapses to the ground. Elen is then shown unmoving while looking up at the sky; however a petal of a poisonous flower beside her, Oxytropis, is shown missing. THE FATE OF ELEN AND REIJI IS LEFT UNKNOWN, LEAVING THE ENDING AMBIGUOUS so maybe they are not dead only a open ending . no ofence

hahaha well ok amv was relly good, but ;D have you noticed the lyrics kinda doesnt mach ? :D "im not a perfect person ( well definitely f.e. killing thousands of ppl even the closest one ) i just loled when i heard that lyric. In my opinion they had bond closer than of a couple they loved and cared for each other but i think they didnt wanted to use themselves in love[(physical) like with claudia] or sth like this and just wanted to be there to "see smile" or just to be close to each other ;)

yeah after watching it for the second time i see that the song make sense. Man this is the best amv of phantom ;) i got goosebumps, and i love to read subs in this amv when i actually hate it in amv's but in this one... Man nice work even if not intended the subs really got to me they make like a story and make you remeber this totally insane anime. ;)

If that is told, the power of the moment will be gone, it may be a sad ending, but not a bad one. The power of this anime is for me kinda not knowing how it will end. and if you understand everything that happens in the series, you won't find it a bad ending.
