Pan Mały Władziu jest mało znany w Polsce. Pierwszy raz usłyszałem jego muzykę na tzw. pocztówkach dźwiękowych w roku 1971-72.

Utkwiła mi w pamięci piosenka o zamordowaniu Roberta Kennedy,ego zaczynająca się od słów " w dniu 6 czerwca to nadeszła chwila - Roberta Keneed,ego kula go zabiła."

Szukam jej bezskutecznie w necie i nie mogę znaleźć.

Na marginesie - w języku polskim słowo "puka" nabrało nowego, obscenicznego znaczenia.Dlatego należy tłumaczyć " puka Jasiu w drzwi"

Thank YOU for putting on this video! Lil Wally songs were played on jukeboxes and radio everywhere in the 50's and 60's. It is nice to see this performance on the Welk Show. He has composed hundreds of songs still sung by many polka bands today. I grew up listening to his music. There was never a celebration without Lil Wally songs. I was young but I can still smell the kolacz (kolache) baking in the oven with Wally's xmas songs playing in the background...I knew Christmas was soon to be here.
