Osettians settled in this Georgian central region of Shida Kartli. In 1922 Stalin did give it autonomy. But it was always part of Georgia, even after Russia annexed georgia in 1801.. Ossetians, their language, and their roots are from Iran.. they settled in what today is North osetia, and only later after the Mongols forced them, came to Georgia, over the caucuses mountains. South Osettia was, and always will be Georgia. Ossetians who want to live in Russia should go to north Ossetia.

Chechens now are pretty much OK with Russia. They even fought as a part of Russia army (batalian Vostok) against Georgian Army in Tshinvali killing Geargian tanks. Those people practiced on Russia tanks during 1st and 2nd wars, but now our nations are in peace.

There are hundreds of nations live in Russia, most of them have preserved their language and culture. They were not eradicated or fully assimilated like in many other countries.

Please, look deeper into history of Georgia, Ossetia and Abkhasia. Stalin has transfered these republics to Georgia. When USSR collapsed, nobody has asked people where they want to be.

These people voted with guns against Georgians. They do not have much in common with Georgians, which is the most nationalistic country in the world.

Look deeper into history.

Details are important. Did she ask for Russian citizenship? Did she marry Russian? Did she study in Russia? Did she ended up in Russia after 1939 pact?

It was not common to give Russian passports all over the world.

But I do admit that Russia issues passports to Ossetians. They ask for passports, file standard applications and get it. Russia has a favorable procedure of naturalization for USSR-born people.

Lol:) Not all Arabs live in Saudi Arabia, there is not much in common besides Islam. At that point of time Chechnya was experimenting with various versions of Islam due to restrictions on a freedom of the religion in USSR. Chechnya never really wanted to join any of Arab Countries.
