I think Kuyt and Riera are better WINGERS than Benayoun. For me, Benayoun should play off the striker( in the hole) or as a right/left Midfielder (as Ronaldo was doing). Even though Benayoun is a better footballer, his crossing abilities are dubious, and employing him as a winger is going to take some goals off him. I'm willing to give Lucas time (not too much, though).

Kuyt better winger than Benayoun? Kuyt can't take players on, and his cross is just OK. Benayoun is tricky, fast, skillful, i say fuck Lucas out of the team. Put Kuyt up front with Torres, Gerrard can partner Mascherano then have Riera and Benayoun as wingers, that's the perfectly balanced team.
