This was Morrissey pouring out a massive part of his upbringing. It follows the troubadour and folk traditions of putting such things to music, passing down to generations. I grew up in Manchester, it was a horror story your parents told you about. The news reported on the killers being released to help locate the bodies, they'd forgotten where they'd buried them. The mothers on the television, unable to move on after all those years. They recorded kids suffering and laughed. It was pervasive.

Ian Brady is currently at Ashworth Hospital, a high security mental institute. I don't think we'll know where anymore bodies are buried until after his death - he wrote his autobiography which is to be published or released when he passes. I wouldn't be surprised if he confesses to more crimes in that autobiography of his. The person is possession of his autobiography is his lawyer.

Myra Hindley died in 2002. The reason they parted in prison, was because Myra refused to admit it. Ian did, and he was prepared to serve his sentence. He has a deal with his lawyers and a publishing company to publish his autobiography only after he dies. A lot of people think he is doing this to 'have the last word.' It is a terrible thing for any mother to lose a child, even worse to have them stolen by a monster.
