it is better you see a display in MALTA because you ll see many different types of shells that you cant see them in america or japan or somewhere else in the world but you ll see them only in malta especially the ' beraq' shells and the multi color shells. they are maltese brand
Don't be too hard on American displays. They do use Japanese fireworks and they are the best but I have seen awesome displays in America and we do some pretty cool displays here in the UK to. I'm not sure but I think compressed air fired fireworks and electronically detonate aerial shells were developed in the US for displays such as reflections of earth displays.

Last time I checked the two firework leaders here in the states Zambelli and Grucci made their own fireworks in house here in the US of A! Japs may make some good shells but I guarentee that either one of those companys could hold their own with any Jap company.
A fireworks display is only as impressive as the money that is put into them.. not every town in the USA can bankroll huge impressive displays... BUT you will find it here.. how many towns in Japan will have fireworks displays? How many towns in the USA will have them in the 4th of July? We have more annual fireworks than Japan will ever have.
I wonder... Cause in America we pretty much use fireworks on only one day, and while the shows are on average less spectacular there seem to be more of them.
Whereas in Japan there are fireworks shows all summer long; probably fewer but more or less looking like this.
Perhaps the fireworks themselves are similar, but in Japan, the entire fireworks show-- which often lasts an hour or more-- is comparible to what counts as a finale in America.
Personally, I haven't seen a fireworks show in America where there were so many going off at once that it actually turned the sky red.
i haven't personally seen it but, from the videos i've seen it appears to have the same "turning the sky red" effect with the new york city 4th of july display. but maybe you've seen it. to me what it sounds like is just how many fireworks they're pumping in at a time is what makes a good show to you, i really like the cool organization the have with these fireworks. but in all fairness american cities can easily create the same style of shows as japan. it's not like we don't have the money
Every time I see fireworks I think of all those that lost thier lives for freedom.

Japan and malta are nuts... I Wish I could get my hands on some of those. Or not.

Don't get too excited, it's obviously in slow motion and most shows would look awesome in slo-mo

stupid janks with their nationalistic pride
the japanese fireworks makers still make the best quality shells in the world. Beautiful shows in the states are made with fireworks made in Japan.
