lol, i'm an ass? man, you must be intelligent. they really aren't two different things. belief is belief. i don't BELIEVE in evolution; i accept the evolutionary theory because of the evidence that supports it. a belief is an assumption. scientists don't assume their theories are correct because there's always the possibility that they could be proved wrong. there is no 100% certainty in science. they use the scientific method to provide the best theory possible at the time.
