  • I have just discovered this wonderful group after hearing Mykonos on the backing to this equally stunning video of surfing at Byron Bay and am much better for the experience.

    NO.

  • Me and my friend have a band called Different Shades of Grey. We've taken influences from Fleet Foxes, Band Of Horses, Simon & Garfunkel etc. If you search for DSOGMUSIC you'll find us on YouTube! We currently have 3 songs on MySpace and 3 videos on YouTube!

    Bye!

  • Beautiful performance!

  • seattle have done us proud again, R.E.M NIRVANA FLEET FOXES , all so origianl in theyre own rights THUMBS UP FOR SEATTLE, :)))))))))))))

  • @bigsinger1981 you forgot Mother Love Bone, Pearl Jam... and J.Hendrix who was born in Seattle :)

  • @timidrummond

ya do learn something new nearly everyday :))) good man urself. SHANKILL ROAD ON TOUR

  • I hear that bubbly surf rock sound!

  • the drummers name is joshua tillman, hes also a solo singer-songwriter, best albums are called 'year in the kingdom' and 'minor works'

  • 18 people will never make it to mykonos....

  • 18 people are jealous they can't grow a glorious beard.

  • One of the best FF songs out!

  • This is a really cool English band similar to Fleet Foxes : Joseph James and the Lost Society, check out Though I Have Wronged You

  • robin sings with so much courage, its amazing,

  • man, who thinks the guitarist on the right is gutted that of all the bands to end up in when he cant grow a beard it was fleet foxes... One of the beardiest!

  • what a stoned song

    i like it

  • Sublime

  • It reminds me "Cream".

  • indredible. i have no words worthy.

  • you better not fucking forget at 2:51......he seems down and real.

  • A british band that you might like that are similar to Fleet Foxes are called The FOSSIL COLLECTIVE. Go and check out the video for On and On. Its very good. Bye Bye xx

  • Mykonos what a beautiful island!

  • best band ever wow

  • I love this...when I first heard it I thought why are the radio station playing something from the 60's all the time...HUH but I still it has that feel to it...Just fabulous

  • i dont understand why people continue to watch a video after they've made their shoddy judgements of it, then coose to give a thumbs down...

Why not leave and find something they do like??

  • how can people dislike this.. seriously

  • And God said: "Let thou hair grow longue and thou baird go Epic. Go, and spread the awesomness."

  • This is awesome, Cheers for upping mate :D

  • I'd do her!

  • beautiful song, beautiful harmonies.........

  • i remember hearing this in early 2008 on radio 2, absolutely awesome song!

  • Isn't it amazing how they ALL can sing beautifully, not just the lead singer.

  • @ProphecyRJ well the support guitarrist never sings :]

  • @ProphecyRJ Nah, the rest can sing a little bit more effortless, I think. But that's not strange concidering they're not the ones who have to use their voices every song, the whole set and perhaps tour long. The lead singer has a very strong voice of his own.

  • @ProphecyRJ except the guitarist))

  • this is one of the nicest songs ive heard for an age...

  • fucking greatness live

  • This guy looks like someone I've seen before.....Hmm, richard chamberlien in Shogun...no no no, Jesus ;) BTW effin great song!

  • First Aid Kit - true - is also great. Or check midlake or tideline

  • @dinosaur1010101 check out First Aid Kit

  • love this

  • awesome remind me of cool 60's music

  • i find the singer resembles a sterotypical image of jesus...anyone agree?

  • @bandrewes I agree

  • @bandrewes I was just thinking exactly that.. But you know what they say, great minds think alike ;)

  • @bandrewes jesus was probably more olive skinned. But hey, he gave us easter eggs and I'm fine with that

  • @bandrewes Yes, however he was more likely tanned because of his relative closeness to the equator.

  • proper lush music and harmonies. musicianship at near perfection, strikes something from deep within. defo like america. will be seeing them live as soon as they tour again.

  • Me and my kids saw them in glasgow. Best gig ever, they are so cool.

  • pure bliss, love this feeling...

  • they are unbelievably awesome

  • GREAT !!!

  • sencillamente brillantes

  • thrilling vox!

  • Interesting comment below about Fleet Foxes being the new 'America' (band). Yes, I agree. Not only do they tread similar musical turf, but Robin Pecknold is clearly the new Dewey Bunnell. Remarkable resemblance. Search for "America - 'Horse With No Name' [first UK performance]" and you'll see what I mean. Btw, Mykonos - awesome song. Destined for 'classic' status. Stuff like this restores my faith in music.

  • "Brother you don't need to turn me away"

  • This is medievil music taken to a modern level , its utterly astoundingly beautiful on the ear !!!

  • agree - best comment I've heard on these boys

  • I seen them in Glasgow last month & am still hooked!! My hubz randomly came across them on the radio & I've never looked back. They are now included in my favourites along with CSN & John Martyn. No mean feat!

  • Obscenely good! My favourite Fleet Foxes song...

  • man, grow up. theres no reason to call him "an asshole" or "fuckin dumb". not everyone has the same taste in music as you. and it's not even like he made fun of them, or you. so gtfo.

  • amazing but smile

  • ♪♥

  • fodaço.

  • A very great song!!!!!!

  • I love this, probably one of the songs I love the most.

  • Just when I had resigned myself to living in a musical era when, for so many bands (too many bands), "vocalist" is simply a default position that goes to the guy who either a) plays guitar, b) drew the short straw, c) will do it because *somebody* has to, or, d) sucks the least, along come these guys, with voices enough for four bands. I hardly know where to put myself.
