This song is still so amazing. I've been in a close relationship with it for more than a year, and it still continues to give me the chills pretty much every single time. And you're right IrradiatedRobot; that build up and outro is a fucking wrap! The album in itself is really a masterpiece too, I think. It was a new take on Daughters, and it SOUNDS like their crossover attempt, sort of. But I don't think it was. However, this band could never do wrong, and there you go - best album of 2010. :)

all 3 of there albums are different. canada songs is straight thrash, hell songs is just plain neurotic and I like to this album is their ode to rock n roll. there final bow.

I havent listened to daughters in a while. I didnt know they were writing as long as they did. I am bummed they are no longer touring but this is my favorite song on this album.

@RedArtBleeding I think the lyrics on this most recent album at least are quite fantastic. It's kinda like Lex really is this fucked up, sexist guy, but he's coming to the realization that he'll never make any profound human connection. That's how I interpret this song anyway. Very profound and honest poetry.

how the fuck did they ever get any music written? as a musician i don't get it. i mean yea i'm one of the only people i know that like daughters and it took growing up for me to be able to listen to everything after canada songs, but i just don't get how they all got together and made any of these songs. they must be aliens. <3
