I bought my 09 focus ses about 9 months ago, used with 34000 miles. i get 25 average mpg. But i've been having a few problems, when the car is started the idle fluctuates and while driving its no better. the power is really never steady while accelerating. And i constantly have problems with the sync system. Always with the usb removing and my phone disconnecting, and the only way to fix it is removing the fuse and putting it back. Its a good car with minimal problems. Its worth looking at.

The 2008-2010 Focus sedan is a very nice car. Numerous consumer reviews are incredibly positive about this car. The so called professional reviewers don't give this fine car the respect that it deserves. I've test driven 2 of the SE sedan automatics and it demonstrates really nice handling and steering and is super quiet. I liked it way more than my late model Civic sedan. Honda automatics are horrible. Their shifting is very indecisive and rough. The Focus automatic was very refined.

I had a 2009 Focus SE Sedan, and was in an accident and it got totaled. Now I got a 2010 Focus SEL Sedan, and I completely agree with you. This is the best car I have ever driven. This Focus is really safe as well.

Nice car but back seats are not "plenty of space for a tall person" give me a ****ing break man there is no leg room in the back.

I liked the solid 'thunk' sound I heard when the reviewer closed the trunk and rear door of the car...nice, nice, nice. In contrast, my '05 Corolla sounds like tin--not so nice. Ford has a really nice product here, and I'm car shopping, too!

Ford has really improved this vehicle as far as comfort goes. I drove one around a week ago and couldnt believe it was a Focus. Seriously thinking about buying one myself.
My only fault with it is that Fords come with Sirius radio, and ive always been a XM person. But oh well, thats just a tiny gripe that really doesnt matter in the end.
