Wow I didnt know you could attack him while he is doing that hell's judgement attack! Damn thanks for that. Been hard for me since i dont have glide or air dodge level 2, or high jump level 2, so I have been relying on blocking :P which has gone well for me and im level 55, always get him down to 1-4 bars left but man that fire pillar attack ticked me off, but now i know i can attack him while doing hell's judgement, rather than timing my curaga so i get cured just while i get hit by it. Oh man, I didn't even think to try using reflect magic on him. I had ideas to try Magnet and others but I never actually used any magic except cure, I guess just force of habit when swordfighting. That would have made avoiding Sephiroth's balls a lot easier, when I get final mix I'll have to try again in critical mode.

@TheMrBfmv Those people are experts on the game, and started hacking it. By hacking you can use characters you usually can't, have partners ANYtime, and fight any boss. Almost anything is possible when they do it, there's nothing wrong with your PS2. There are requirements to unlocking Sephiroth I think(haven't played in a WHILE)

Sephy in KH2 is actually really easy. IN the first one it was harder. What i did for KH2 was I just spammed magnega (or whatever i haven't played game in a while so i'm not sure of the names) on top of simba's den or something where all the bees are to get to lvl 99. at lvl 99 it's easy with all the magic and forms unlocked, which really doesn't take that long compared to completely beating final fantasy games.

Jump and then use aerial dodge, don't forget to lock on him. Aerial dodge will boost your forward jump.

Level up your forms (Valour, Wisdom, etc...). They give y ou those growth abilities. (Valour= High jump, Wisdom= Air Slide, Master= Air dodge, Final= Glide).

In order to beat sephie hear, you must have AT LEAST: guard, counterattack, once more ( enables you to survive after getting hit with a combo), and a bunch of potions. but at this time of the game, it's impossible to miss reflect and you only get the once more ability at lvl48 if you picked up the sword at the first part of the game. which is REALLY helpful, you have a .01% chance of winning if you don't have once more ability
